Welcome to this meditation centering in your artist's heart.

This meditation is yours to access at any time,

Day or night,

As a reminder of your true nature.

When you're deep in your creative process,

When you've come to a pause in your creative expression and encountered an obstacle on your path,

When you're not feeling creative or artful,

When you're doubtful about your artistry,

Or when you simply wish to open more deeply into your artistry,

This meditation is a reminder that the artist's heart is within you,

A breath away.

Your artistry is always present in your heart.

It's yours to attune to at any moment,

Whether sitting,

Lying,

Or standing,

Whenever you wish to connect with your heart.

In this session,

We'll be seated in a comfortable position on the ground or in a chair.

Sit up now with a strong,

Straight spine and a soft front,

Your arms either comfortably hanging by your sides,

Your hands folded in your lap or resting on top of your legs,

And your arms.

Slowly now bring your awareness to your breath.

Take three deep breaths,

In and out.

On the first breath,

Inhale and breathe into the top of your lungs and exhale.

On the second breath,

Inhale and breathe into the middle of your chest and exhale.

And on the third breath,

Inhale and bring your breath deeply into your lungs and exhale your belly.

Breathe into your belly twice more,

Slowly and deeply,

And relax.

Follow the breath into your lungs and notice how your lungs feel.

Notice how your chest opens and expands on the inhale and releases as you exhale.

On every breath,

Feel the expansion in the top,

Middle,

And bottom of your lungs.

There's no extra effort here.

Your belly is relaxed,

Your abdomen is lifting,

And relaxing naturally.

Your breath is a natural rising and falling of your chest as your lungs fill and expel your breath.

As you observe the breath in and out of your chest,

Bring your awareness to the space between your lungs,

To the space in between,

To the muscle,

The organ that is your heart.

As you breathe in and out,

Notice how your lungs wrap gently around your heart with every inhale.

Notice how they release your heart with every exhale.

Inhale and embrace the heart with kindness.

Exhale and release the heart with kindness.

The breathing in and out of your lungs and the pumping of blood through your heart make the beautiful partnership a lovely and incalculable balance.

As you continue breathing and allowing your lungs,

Belly,

And abdomen to work naturally,

Bring your attention to your heart.

Attune to your heart as you begin to almost feel the breathing in your chest.

Bring your focus to this place,

Your inner eyes,

Your inner ears,

Your inner touch to this place inside your heart and settle there,

Feeling your way into your heartbeat.

Perhaps this is a place you know well.

Allow yourself to settle into this familiar place.

Perhaps this is a place with which you're not so very familiar.

Allow yourself to settle into this as yet unfamiliar place.

As you breathe in and out,

As the center of your heart begins to feel your heartbeat,

A singular reading,

A repeating,

A repeating.

Your heartbeat has been with you since conception,

Since your journey through the Earth came out,

Since your birth,

And since your earliest days of life.

It has grown up with you and has been accompanied by your heart all along,

Quietly,

Slowly,

And neatly.

Whether you're attuned to it at a very young age or a later one,

Allow yourself to attune to it now as if for the very first time.

This is your artist heart,

Be there.

This pulse,

This beat at the center of you is the art in your heart.

Feel into it.

Allow any thoughts that arise to come and go.

Allow any visions,

Any images to come and go.

Allow any emotions to surface and let them flow.

Acknowledge everything and let it pass,

Let it stream,

And keep bringing your attention to this freedom at your center.

Notice that as you attune your senses to your heartbeat,

It begins to beat more surely.

Your intuition is guiding you to it.

Your intuition is very centered in you.

Notice also any changes in your breathing,

Any changes of temperature in your body,

Any changes in your posture or in your tension.

Just notice and allow your deep breathing to bring back to your relaxed brain,

Your soft,

Open center.

How does your attuning to your heartbeat feel very first time in your life?

Or for the first time today?

They are the same thing.

Every time you attune,

This first time,

It is always new.

The very nature of your attuning is like watering a garden,

Like lighting a moon.

Attuning to your heartbeat brings you to alignment.

Trust that the speed is always there,

Whether you are sleeping,

Lying,

Walking,

Running,

In deep sleep or awake,

Calm or agitated.

These pulses in your body of sleep are essential signals of your sleep.

As you bring yourself to rest around and continue to move around,

Notice how it becomes more audible to you.

One beat after another it is emancipating of your heart,

Your constant beat in your heart.

As you bring the light of your awareness into this place of your artist heart,

You will begin to speak to it.

As you bring yourself to this place and begin to really listen,

You will hear what it has to say.

As you lean into this space,

Let it whisper to your heart.

Whether it is a creative choice you have before you,

An artistic venture you are about to embark on,

Clarity you seek,

Inspiration for a new idea,

A project,

A piece of art,

A new way of art,

A new story,

A new voice you hear,

Listen and you will hear the affirmation you seek.

The answer you seek is in your blood,

Ironed energy that is inside you.

The courage you seek is here.

Courage comes from the French word collage,

Which comes from the French word flow,

Which means the heart.

As you breathe into this space,

Wait.

Wait for whatever it means that is forthcoming.

You can tend to wait for whatever it is that you seek to know.

Rest your awareness here,

Rest your mind here.

Rest your feelings here in the center of your being,

In your artist heart.

Whatever comes to you,

Allow it,

Return to you,

Accept it.

This is the sacred space.

This is the safe sanctuary you can access whenever you feel the urge.

As you practice it to you,

You'll learn how to drop in for a short or a long while as you desire.

As you bring your light of awareness to your center,

You'll become a depth of head-drawn inspiration,

Courage,

Clarity and gratitude from this pulse that carries your body's bed-body.

As you build your practice,

Your breathing and attaining practice,

Your seeing and listening practice,

You'll be able to sink deeper and deeper into this space that is your true self.

Inside your heart,

There is this pulse of your true self and all your wisdom and true knowing.

This is the place of your heart's content and your art's content.

As you listen,

Feel its energy spread into every part of your body,

Carry the long in your bloodstream,

Vibrating with your breath.

Feel it coursing into your legs,

Feet and toes,

Into your ground or seat,

Your genitals,

Back up into your belly and all your vital organs,

Up along your spine to your neck and throat and around your vocal folds.

Feel it coursing across your shoulders,

Down into your arms,

Hands and fingertips,

Up into your head,

Filling the space between your ears,

Filling that marvelous space of your mind which is the ally to your heart,

Its meaningful servant and pure creator.

Feel your heartbeat radiating into your tentacles or your crown,

Trust what you know,

That this unique beat has always,

Is now and will forever animate your being.

At this point,

Your entire being is settled and pulsing,

Your whole being is buzzing with the beat that is radiating into your heart.

You are the born artist.

You are vibrating according to your own inner compass,

Your own unique composition,

Individual pulse and sacred song which has been with you,

Patient,

Revitalized.

It's been ready in a moment's notice for you to engage in by simply tuning your tongue.

There is nothing you have to do.

This is you no matter what you do or not do.

Your doing or not doing makes no difference.

You don't have to change anything.

When you're ready,

You'll hear more feeling.

As you tune to your heartbeat,

Your intuition will lead you and you will follow.

This is who you are by nature.

This is your nature,

Your natural state.

It's you just sitting at the center of yourself and tuning into the great interior expansiveness of who you are,

To the infinitude of you.

Anytime you want,

You come into this space,

This garden,

Breathe yourself,

Breathe yourself,

Relieve yourself from deep and connect with this beat,

This animating life force that is you.

Born artist,

Life artist.

You are a creator.

You breathe as a creator.

Your life is your art.

This you know.

You've known it all along.

You know it now.

And you will always know it.

As you practice your tuning to your heart,

Your wise and ancient center,

No matter what's going on around you,

Strengthen this muscle,

This empathy muscle.

As you attune to your own heartbeat,

You'll attune to the heartbeat of others,

To the pulse of the trees,

Animals,

Insects,

The rocks,

Oceans,

Even the heavens.

You'll connect your heart with theirs and with everything around you,

With the pulse of the center of the earth.

The more familiar you become with this place,

With this voice inside you,

The more you'll notice your life,

Your choices,

Your thoughts and feelings align with this internal compass of yours,

With your own unique landscape,

And with your note.

Your artist heart will begin to guide your life and consciousness with less and less effort on your part,

Simply by nature,

By nature.

So stay here as long as you like,

Breathing into this space,

This chest of treasure.

When you're ready,

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Connect again with the space and the sounds around you,

And slowly open your eyes.

Place your hands over your heart and seal in your practice.

Thank your heart,

Your artist heart.

Always here in service to your life,

Already here in service to your life.

Good morning, my dear Karin. It's wonderful to find your meditations. Yes, and I've signed up for your group, it's great what you do together.
