Welcome to the surrender and release meditation.
If you haven't done so yet,
Go ahead and get comfortable in a place where you will be free of distraction or interruption.
You may choose to sit or lie in a comfortable position.
I would choose a way that your body will be able to fully relax and not send you any signals of discomfort.
To first begin to surrender or release,
We start by doing this with our body.
The release in physiology and tension.
Notice any place that your body is tensed or flexed and consciously choose to uncurl,
Unfold and relax.
Any tension you're holding to maintain your position or pose,
Go ahead and unwind into a place where you do not have to hold your body.
Let the ground or the bed or the floor beneath you hold you completely.
As you settle into this place,
Move your focus to your breath and take a deep cleansing breath in,
Hold and release it.
Now take another deep inward breath all the way through your nostrils,
Filling up your lungs and your belly,
Hold.
Now exhale completely,
Pushing it through your body and back up through your mouth.
Now bring into your awareness the things that were drawing energy from you.
Hold them quietly in your mind as I say this mantra.
I acknowledge my energy leaks in the following areas of my life.
I accept that I am powerless to change these things.
I accept these truths and cut the energy cord that pulls my focus to them.
I release my resistance to accepting this reality.
I surrender to the power of the universe to operate on my behalf,
To work miracles around these areas.
I release my hold and allow the universe to do her thing.
Take a deep breath in now,
Hold and release.
