Welcome to today's session.
Settle into a comfortable position.
Our exercise today uses a healing object,
And so I'd like for you to choose that object right now.
You can look around your room and see if there's anything that might be suited for this exercise.
You could use a stone or a pillow,
Or maybe a stuffed animal,
A piece of jewelry,
Something that you think you'd enjoy holding and that might hold some meaning for you.
So go ahead and choose an object carefully.
And once you've found something that you think works for you,
Go ahead and hold it gently.
And if it feels comfortable for you,
Go ahead and close your eyes and settle into some deep breaths in and out.
Fill your body with air all the way down to your toes and the top of your head.
Cleansing air in and out.
Expand and release the chest.
And once you've settled into a rhythm with your breath,
I'd like you to turn your attention to your object.
What's it feel like?
The texture?
Is it smooth or soft?
Or maybe rough?
What's the weight of it like?
Is it heavy or light?
Go ahead and transfer the object just into your right hand and hold it.
Hold it there in the right hand.
Notice it.
What's it feel like?
You can feel the texture.
And then go ahead and transfer to the left hand.
Is the feeling changed?
Do you notice anything different or is it the same?
And once you've got a good sense of your object,
You can hold it however you'd like.
And I'd like you to see if you could imagine that this object holds all the healing energy that you need right now.
Whatever it is that you need,
This object is holding that for you.
It's holding it in the form of energy.
And it's waiting to give that to you.
And so if you can,
Try to imagine this energy is slowly flowing into your fingertips and up your hands and arms and into the whole body.
Picture this energy flowing throughout your body from this healing object.
It's just for you.
This is your healing object.
How all this energy was made just for you.
Anything you need,
Anything you've been lacking.
Just let it flow into your body right now.
Notice what that might feel like for you.
How you might notice this energy.
Is it a warmth?
Is it a light that you visualize?
How do you experience this energy?
You can take as much time as you need with your object.
Once you feel like the flow has reached throughout your whole body and you've received that energy,
Maybe you could thank your object and experience some gratitude in this moment for receiving all it is that you needed today.
You can keep your object somewhere safe for next time you'd like to use it.
