Welcome to this guided meditation.
Today we're going to be connecting with our wombs.
Begin by bringing yourself into a comfortable position seated or laying down on your back.
Allow your body to settle here to sink into the ground beneath you.
Gently lower your gaze or close your eyes.
We're going to spend some time exploring our womb space.
We're going to see what's happening there,
Any messages that are present,
Anything that needs our attention,
Anything we need to let go of.
The word womb is synonymous with uterus but for this meditation we are referring to the energetic space within and around the womb which you possess whether you have a physical womb or not.
I invite you now to place your left hand on your chest on your heart space and your right hand on your lower tummy on your womb space.
Your heart and your womb are deeply connected through your blood and emotions.
Where the heart pumps blood the uterus stores it and we feel deep emotion both in our heart and womb.
Nurturing this connection can help you to connect to your intuition,
To your womb wisdom,
To your body.
Let's take some time now to breathe into these areas.
Inhale slowly through the nose as you fill the belly and womb space with air.
Exhale slowly as the air leaves the body.
Inhale right hand rises,
Exhale right hand falls.
Imagine the belly and womb space are a balloon.
Inhale balloon inflates,
Exhale balloon deflates.
Inhale right hand rises,
Exhale right hand falls.
Inhale and exhale.
The left hand,
The hand on your heart space is as still as possible.
Continue breathing as slowly and as deeply as you can ensuring that you fill the body with air as far as is comfortable for you.
We don't want to strain here.
Keep going on your own for a few rounds feeling that breath deeply in the womb space as it expands and contracts.
Each time you breathe in now feel yourself filling the body not only with oxygen but with nourishment,
Stillness,
Light and anything else you need from the earth.
And every time you exhale feel all that no longer serves you,
All that you are clinging on to,
All that is holding you back leave the body.
Inhale take what you need,
Exhale release what you don't.
Inhale and exhale.
If your mind starts to wander come back to the sensations of the breath and focus on your deep inhalations and exhalations.
One last time as slowly as you can,
As deeply as you can,
Inhale and fill the entire body with stillness and nourishment.
And then when you're ready exhale and empty all of the air out of the body releasing any stagnant energy from your entire body perhaps even pressing gently on your womb to completely empty it.
Let go of the breath and the mind now allowing them to do whatever they wish for a few moments.
I invite you now to place both hands on your lower belly on your womb space.
We are going to spend some time exploring here.
Your womb is the location of the second chakra the Svadhisthana or sacral chakra.
Your womb carries deep wisdom.
Your womb is the seat of your subconscious mind,
Your creativity,
Your joy and your intuition.
Your womb is where you store your emotions,
Your sexual experiences,
Your desires and your traumas.
Your womb is an innately powerful and fertile place where you can birth children,
Ideas,
Creative projects and more.
Let's spend some time there and see what's happening.
Taking your awareness now into your womb space as we begin to journey inwards.
Imagining that you're at the entrance of your womb space.
Take a deep breath as you step into this sacred and magical place.
Look down at your feet.
What do you see?
What do you feel?
What do you notice?
Slowly lifting your gaze now and taking a look around you.
What do you see?
What do you hear?
What do you notice?
How do you feel?
I'm going to leave you here for a little while now to do whatever it is you need.
That might be to sit or lay down.
Maybe you have some questions to ask and you want to receive some wisdom that is always here for you.
Maybe it's to clear the weeds and the debris that you notice have become stuck here.
Maybe it's to continue exploring and getting to know your womb space.
There's no right or wrong.
Trust your intuition and let it guide you with no expectations.
Remembering that you can always come back to the breath whenever you need.
I'll be back soon.
Our time here is coming to an end.
I invite you to take these last few moments to do what you need,
Receive what you need,
Ask what you need,
Clear what you need.
And before you leave,
You may like to set an intention,
A desire that can be planted to blossom in the fertile soil of your womb.
Now begin to wiggle your fingers and toes as you bring your awareness back into your body and the space that you're in.
Make small movements with your wrists and your ankles.
Take a nice big stretch if that feels good.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
I invite you to grab your journal or some paper and to journal on what you experienced,
What you saw,
What you felt.
Just let the words flow onto the page.
No filtering,
No editing.
See you again soon.
