Transcript
Hello and welcome to this chakra garden meditation.
Throughout this journey I'm going to be guiding you through your entire chakra system and we're going to be using the metaphor of a garden so that you can explore and experience each chakra.
You're also going to have a chance to gain insight from the metaphors and the imagery and the feelings that you receive throughout the meditation and you're also going to get an opportunity to create healing within the garden and within the chakra.
So start to make yourself nice and comfy choosing a position and a posture that's really going to support your practice and begin to bring your awareness to your breath.
And as you're preparing your body and your mind and your chakra system for this journey just reminding yourself that you are the creative genius of this process.
You are the creative genius of your meditation experience.
And so if all of my words really resonate with you deeply then you can follow them and stick with the guidance but if there's times that you feel pulled in a different direction or if there's times that you really want to experiment with something different then please go ahead and create whatever you want to in your space.
Just allowing your body to settle in.
Even creating some gentle movement in the body just to find that sweet spot for you.
And with your breath and with your awareness just taking yourself down to your base chakra that's located at the perineum right at the base of the spine.
Just breathing deep down into the base of the body feeling into the base.
Feeling the base and the support of your meditation.
The place where your physical body connects to your physical environment.
Feeling yourself really grounded and rooted there.
Just breathing here.
And in your mind's eye seeing a gate and just noticing your gate.
The gate to your base chakra.
Noticing the color,
The size,
The condition of the gate.
Just walking up to your gate and getting a feel for it.
What does it feel like?
Moving closer to the gate and connecting to the gate with your hand and whichever way it opens for you.
Opening the gate and stepping in to the first garden of our journey.
And before you even create a visualization,
Before you even see anything,
Walk into this space.
Allow it to be dark and just feel into this space.
What does it feel like before you perhaps create a scene?
Can you pick up what subtleties can you observe?
Can you feel into in this garden that represents your base chakra?
And as you start to sense and feel things,
You might like to begin to create the visualization or allow the visualizations to come to you.
What colors do you see in your base chakra garden?
How spacious is your garden?
How well-tended is this garden?
Is it being maintained?
Or is it overgrown?
Just noticing what you notice.
There's people or animals.
What do you feel drawn to do in this garden?
Where are you pulled?
The base chakra represents stability,
Support,
Foundation and security.
It governs everything that's really physical in our lives,
Our physical bodies and the energy that we have,
Our health and vitality.
It governs our home environment.
It governs the relationships we have with our family,
Our ancestors,
Our genetic encoding,
Our relationship with money and food,
The material world.
I'm gonna leave you for a few minutes in silence as you explore your garden,
Reminding yourself to be creative in this space.
Noticing if any parts of the garden need to be tended to or changed in any way.
Or if you just feel comfortable to sit and observe and to experience your base chakra through this garden.
We'll be back in a few moments.
Taking a final few breaths here in your base chakra garden.
Doing whatever it is you need to do here before moving forward in your journey.
Taking whatever you need with you from this garden and leaving behind whatever this garden needs to grow stronger roots,
To grow a stronger foundation.
And as you continue along the path heading up towards your sacral chakra which is located in between your belly button and your pubic bone in your lower stomach.
You start to make your way towards this new gate,
The entrance of your sacral chakra garden.
And as you transition between the two gardens,
Feel into the difference within their energies as you leave that solid foundation of the base garden and start to make your way up to the sacral.
Notice if you can pick up any subtleties in the difference of the energies.
Coming up to the sacral garden gate.
Just feeling into this gate,
Noticing whatever there is to notice about your gate.
The color,
The size.
Notice what your gates might say about the boundaries that you have in the sacral chakra.
Is your gate wide open?
Is your gate locked tight?
When you're ready moving towards the gate and opening it in whichever way it needs to be opened and begin to walk into your sacral chakra garden.
And just stay with the feeling for a little while.
Not needing to see anything,
Not needing to gain any huge insight or moments of clarity.
Just walk in with an open energy field.
Just picking up those initial few moments.
What does your sacral chakra want to communicate to you through this garden and through the feeling of this garden?
Even noticing perhaps how different it is to the feeling of the base chakra garden.
And when you feel ready and if the visual part of this journey really resonates with you,
You can start to see your garden.
And of course if visualization doesn't come naturally to you then stay with the feeling.
The feeling is the most important part of your experience.
Noticing colors and space and textures.
Noticing movement and noticing stillness within your garden.
Noticing places of darkness and noticing places of light.
What hints and what insights does this garden give you about the state of your own sacral chakra?
Our sacral chakra governs our emotions.
It governs our ability to be playful in life.
To be really present.
To explore the world with childlike wondrous eyes.
It's here where we experience pleasure.
It's this chakra that's connected to our sensuality and our sexuality.
It's here that we can experience the world with all of our senses.
Where we drink life in.
It's here that is our connection to nature.
The element of our sacral chakra is water.
So perhaps even taking note of the water element inside your garden.
If there was a space of water in your garden what's the quality of the water?
Is it clean or murky?
Is it flowing steady or is it a little trickle?
Or are there no boundaries for the water and the water is overflowing?
Perhaps making the roots too damp.
I'm just noticing with no judgment.
Just keeping an open and curious energy.
An open and curious intention.
What is here for you to discover?
And I'll leave you for a few moments in silence as you explore your sacral chakra garden.
And I'll be back in a few minutes where we will keep moving forward on our journey.
Spending a last few moments in your sacral garden.
Doing what I'm doing.
Doing whatever it is you need to do in this space for you to feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
And as you say goodbye to the sacral garden.
You begin to move your way up towards the solar plexus located in your upper tummy.
And so you might like to just move your awareness along this place or you might even like to visualize yourself walking from the sacral up to your solar.
Walking the path.
And just feeling as you move your awareness from the sacral to the solar what it feels like.
What's the pathway like that connects the two chakras?
What do you notice about their relationship and the pathway that connects them?
And as you get closer to your solar plexus chakra start to tune into its energy.
Its unique vibration.
And when you're ready you see the gate.
You feel the gate.
You notice the gate.
And so notice what you notice.
Notice the color.
Notice the size.
Notice how this gate feels.
And when you're ready moving through the threshold of the gate and beginning to feel into the energy of your solar plexus garden.
Feel into the energy of your upper stomach.
And before you see anything,
Before you create a visualization,
Just feel.
Feel into this space within your body and within your energy body.
What do you notice?
How does it feel different from the sacral chakra?
How does your body respond when you start to delve your awareness into your solar plexus?
Our solar plexus chakra governs our self-confidence,
Our self-belief,
Our ability to stand in our own truth,
Stand our own ground and to know our own truth.
It governs will and determination and a momentum forward.
The element here is fire.
And so tune into the fires of your solar plexus.
Is there an element of fire in your garden?
And what's your fire like?
How warm is it in your solar plexus?
The solar plexus chakra is also the gatekeeper to your heart chakra.
So your heart chakra feels safe to open when your solar plexus has strong boundaries.
You can say yes and can say no with confidence.
So just notice the gatekeeper energy within this garden.
Who has access to this garden?
Who else adds to this garden?
Who else may take away from this garden?
Can anyone just come in here and do what they like or is there strong boundaries in this garden?
And only certain people with certain intentions may enter.
We'll leave you for a few moments in silence for you to explore your garden.
Create whatever it is you want to create here.
Change what needs to be changed here.
Create healing in this garden so that the solar plexus chakra can be healed as well.
And of course be light and joyful,
Curious and creative in this process.
So give yourself complete creative genius permission here.
Have fun for these next few moments and I'll be back in a minute.
Spending the last few moments in your solar plexus garden.
Doing whatever it is you need to do here to feel comfortable and confident moving forward.
And begin to hear the call of your heart.
Your heart chakra garden.
See if you can hear the noises within your heart garden as you make your way to the heart garden gate.
Noticing as you move along the pathway from the solar plexus to the heart what qualities are here.
What connection does the gatekeeper within the solar plexus have and your heart chakra have?
What's their relationship?
How do they communicate with each other?
Is the path well tended to?
What does it need some attention?
And when you're ready finding the gate to the heart chakra garden and noticing what you notice.
Picking up on the sounds inside the garden.
Picking up on what is calling you into your own heart space.
Feeling the vibrations of the sounds themselves.
When you're ready making your way into your heart garden allowing the sounds of the heart garden to pull you in deeper.
And without needing to create a picture just yet.
Just sensing into what you feel as you make your way to the center of your garden.
Allowing the sounds of the garden to get stronger and stronger.
Allowing the sounds to move through your whole body and your whole energy body.
If it feels good for you allowing the visuals to follow.
Allowing the other senses to follow.
Your sense of smell.
Your sense of touch.
Perhaps even your sense of taste.
The element of the heart chakra is air.
So feel the breeze of your heart chakra garden.
What does the air feel like?
How pure is the air within your heart garden?
And perhaps connecting more deeply with this garden by taking a few slightly deeper longer breaths.
Noticing what you notice.
Allowing yourself to be creative in your garden.
Allowing yourself to be curious.
Open.
The qualities of the heart chakra are love,
Compassion,
Forgiveness,
Openness.
And showing these qualities not only to other people and receiving them from other people but also showing them and receiving them from yourself.
Our heart chakra is the very center of the seven chakras within the body and so it's in this space where heaven and earth meet.
It's here where the polarities of ourselves and our world meet and become balanced.
They become one.
The masculine,
The feminine,
The light,
The shadow,
The yin and the yang meet in the heart.
I enjoy exploring and cultivating this heart space for a few moments in silence before we continue our journey.
Taking a final few breaths in that sweet heart of yours.
Doing whatever you need to do to leave this space.
As you begin to make your way up to your throat chakra garden.
Especially noticing the pathway as you walk from your heart garden to your throat garden.
What's the connecting pathway like for you?
How easily can you speak from your heart?
How easily can you speak loving,
Kind,
Compassionate and forgiving words?
As you begin to transition from the heart to the throat just feeling more and more deeply into your throat space.
You might even like to start really physical just by feeling the neck and the throat on a physical level before you start to delve your awareness into the energy of your throat and finding the gate to your throat chakra.
Noticing what there is to notice about your gate as you open it and enter your garden space within the throat.
What's your first impressions of your throat garden?
What does it feel like to be inside the garden of your throat exploring and experiencing your throat garden?
Of course throughout this journey there might be some chakra gardens that you really connect easily with and others might feel harder and that in itself is gold for you.
That in itself is beautiful information about the quality of each chakra and your connection to each chakra in this moment.
So allow each experience to be as it is.
Allow each chakra garden to be as it is as you explore and experience it.
What does this garden tell you about your throat chakra?
Our throat chakras are connected to our authentic voice.
The way that we communicate ourselves and our truth into the world.
It's here that we express our purpose into the world.
And this is also the part of us energetically where our physical self needs to surrender to the will of our soul and the will of our higher guidance.
If we want to start to access those high chakras and if we want to start bringing the souls and our spirits will into the world in a physical expression.
So perhaps even assisting this process by physically softening the throat and the neck.
Even by experiencing a surrender within the breath.
Enjoy experiencing this space for a few moments in silence.
What is here for you in your throat chakra?
What insight,
What realization,
What healing is available to you in this moment?
Spending your last few moments here.
Doing whatever you need to do to leave this space.
And feeling the difference in vibration as you move from your throat to your third eye.
Feeling the energy of your third eye chakra.
Feeling it stronger and stronger as you move closer to the gate of your garden.
The third eye garden is located in between the two physical eyes and right back into the center of your head.
As you reach the gate and the threshold to this garden.
What do you notice?
What's your first impressions?
Perhaps even for a moment noticing how different it feels to the gardens that you experienced at the start of your journey.
The base and the sacral and the solar.
Entering your third eye garden and just feeling it with your whole energy.
Allowing your whole energy to open up and to breathe the energy of this garden in.
So you're not only exploring it with your hands and your sight and your physical senses.
Your whole being is feeling this garden.
The element in the third eye is light.
So tuning into the subtleties of light within your third eye chakra garden.
Because no other garden in the entire universe will look like yours,
Will feel like yours.
And so really tune into the subtleties of this space.
Intimately exploring your inner world through this garden.
Our third eye is our intuition.
Our insight.
Our ability to dream and to visualize and to create in the energetic world.
It's here where we receive the insights from the Divine and we create pictures connected to these insights that can be created in the physical world.
It is here where we close our physical eyes and we see truth.
We see this world and this universe made up of all the energy it consists of.
Just sitting and being in this garden is strengthening your intuition.
It's opening you up to receive more guidance and more insights and more clarity about your vision.
You don't need to do anything here.
Just being here is deeply healing.
Taking a final few breaths here before we move to our final garden for this journey.
And when you're ready making the short little trip up to your crown chakra.
Straight up from the third eye located at the crown of your head.
Feeling yourself moving closer to this garden and noticing the subtle differences between the third eye and the crown.
Feeling into the expansiveness of your crown chakra.
Perhaps you're more connected to the constriction within your crown.
Whatever you experience is right for you in this moment.
So approaching the crown gate.
Feeling into the gate.
Feeling into perhaps what it tells you about your crown space.
And moving through this final porthole.
This entrance way into your crown chakra garden.
And noticing what you notice.
Feeling into what is here to be felt.
Feeling it with your whole energy body.
The crown chakra connects you deeply to the qualities of unity.
Wholeness and oneness.
Feeling yourself at one with everything.
It's your connection to the greater universe.
The greater source of all creation.
Your connection to life itself.
And your gateway to the higher chakras.
Feel into its vibration.
Feel into what is here for you in this moment to feel or experience or learn.
Like in every chakra,
Just being here heals it.
Just being here heals you and heals the world.
Just be.
Taking a final few breaths here.
And honouring yourself here.
Honouring the journey that you have just taken.
Honouring the insights and the healing and perhaps even the uncomfortability of this journey.
Moving down to your heart space and taking a few breaths in your heart.
Allowing the polarities of this journey to balance.
To find their centre.
Feeling into the gratitude within your heart for the spaces that you have created within yourself.
For the ways in which you have gotten to know yourself more intimately throughout this journey.
Bringing your awareness down to your base chakra.
Back to where you began.
Taking some breaths at the base.
Grounding your energies.
Honouring your base for its support.
And its foundation.
Having gratitude for the base for all that it holds.
Just bringing your awareness to the place where your body connects to the physical environment that you sit.
The cushion,
The floor,
The chair,
The bed.
Really feel into how this physical world has held you throughout this journey.
Feeling into the element of earth that it represents.
Feeling gratitude for your home.
Thank you for journeying with me through the chakra gardens.
I hope that we meet again soon.
