I am pregnant.
Whenever I am uncomfortable,
I lie down immediately so I can be comfortable.
Should I continue meditating despite the discomfort?
Or is this an unnecessary worry or distraction?
If you are thinking on your meditation only,
You should continue with meditation.
If you are thinking on your meditation only,
You should continue with meditation.
If you are thinking on your meditation only,
You should continue with meditation.
If you are thinking on your meditation only,
You should continue with meditation.
If you are thinking on your meditation only,
You should continue with meditation.
You should continue with meditation despite the discomfort.
If you want to lie down because you feel uncomfortable,
That's something that comes to you naturally,
So you don't have to force yourself to meditate.
Because what meditation is,
Is really you are practicing to learn resiliency,
To maintain a certain focus despite whatever discomfort or distraction.
To free yourself from your own desires,
That's the objective of meditation.
However,
The situation becomes a little different when you are pregnant.
Because if you try to go through the discomfort too much,
You tend to tense up.
Too much tension in your mind and body tends to influence your child.
If you are thinking about your child,
Do not try to do too much despite the discomfort.
So basically you are asking two different questions,
Two separate questions.
If you are thinking of just your meditation,
Then you should meditate through the discomfort.
Because it's something that you should overcome,
No matter how hard it is.
However,
For the baby,
Too much tension can be bad for it.
So if you are thinking about the baby,
Do not try to push yourself too hard.
Do not go too much overboard.
So it's not because of you,
But since you are putting the baby's health primarily,
I wish you would not push yourself too hard.
Another example,
I'm walking up a hill,
I'm hiking a mountain.
And I'm lagging.
So at that time,
Somebody asked me,
I'm tired,
I'm lagging,
Should I go on to the top?
Or should I go back down?
I said,
You know what,
You should push yourself and go to the top.
But then,
Say you are taking a little boy with you.
So if that person asks me the same question,
If there's a child involved,
I might answer,
You know what,
Think of the child first and go back down.
So what I'm saying is that the situation is a little different.
You
