Today's meditation is for taking a pause.
It's for letting go and for bringing into balance the energy of your heart.
As you start to get settled into comfort for meditation,
I invite you to check in with your heart for a moment.
Just noticing,
Without judgment,
Without a right or wrong answer,
What is your heart feeling right now?
Please gently close your eyes and place your hands over your heart.
Your heart beats on average 100,
000 times a day,
So let's just pause and reflect on how incredible that is.
And let's infuse these heartbeats with gratitude by softly guiding the words,
Thank you,
To your heart.
In Sanskrit,
Your heart chakra is named Anahata.
It means unhurt,
Unstruck.
This energy center is your inner home of compassion,
Empathy,
Forgiveness,
And of course,
Love.
The nature element of your heart is the purest of air.
It's like boundless wind or the eternal sky.
Your heart's energy is meant to be free,
Untethered,
Ever-flowing,
Unconditional.
But what happens with life sometimes is that our hearts get hurt.
We experience disappointment,
Loss,
And pain,
And our minds start to take over for our hearts.
And instead of listening to what our hearts say,
We become protective and block what our hearts desire the most.
So let's take a healing and loving pause for our hearts.
And for the next couple of minutes,
Breathe slowly into your heart space,
Letting in the fresh air,
The wild wind,
The eternal sky.
I will be back shortly.
Let's take a nice,
Sweet,
Deep breath together.
And we will now use the healing words of the ancient Hawaiian meditation practice,
Ho'oponopono.
This is to bring your heart into balance.
The words of Ho'oponopono are,
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
Guide these words to the very center of your heart.
I will give you space to repeat these words to yourself,
To absorb the meaning of each and to feel the healing power of Ho'oponopono.
I'm sorry,
Please forgive me,
Thank you,
I love you.
Let's take another nice,
Deep breath.
And before we come out of meditation,
I have two questions for you for heart self-reflection.
The first,
What is your heart ready to release,
To let go of,
To set free?
What is your heart ready to let in,
To hold,
To nourish,
And love?
As you start to awaken your senses by gently moving your body,
Let's close this meditation with how we began,
Saying the words thank you to your heart,
Reawakening with gratitude,
Having opened,
Balanced,
Listened,
And aligned with your heart.
I'm honored to meditate with you.
Thank you for being here today.
