Some decisions are best made using logic and reason.
Other decisions do not fit so neatly in a box and are better made using our intuition.
This intuition can come as a gut feeling,
A sense of knowing,
Or an overall feeling of peace.
When a decision feels right,
We often feel our bodies relax and an overall sense of calm.
This does not necessarily mean the best decision is the easiest,
But it's often the one that feels right.
Fear,
On the other hand,
Feels tight,
Urgent,
And noisy.
Intuition often feels calm,
Clear,
And quietly steady.
The more that we make decisions from our intuition rather than fear,
The more that we can live in alignment with who we are and what feels right.
If you have a decision to make at this time.
This practice will help you tune into your intuition.
And arrive at the best decision for yourself.
Let's begin.
Take a comfortable seat or lie down.
Close your eyes and turn your gaze inwards.
Notice your breath.
And let's take three breaths together.
Deep breath in.
And out.
Breathe in.
.
.
And out.
And in.
And out.
Feel your body softening and notice yourself settling down.
Now bring into awareness the situation you are deciding on.
Gently hold that vision in your mind's eye,
Along with the different choices before you.
Picture the first option as if it were already chosen.
As you hold this vision in your mind,
Notice how your body feels.
Does it feel open,
Spacious,
Alive?
Or does it feel heavy,
Contracted,
Or draining?
Now let that option go and take a deep breath in.
And out.
Picture the second option as if it were already chosen.
And notice how your body feels now.
Does it feel open?
Spacious?
Alive?
Or perhaps heavy,
Contracted,
Or draining.
Now take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Release.
Now ask yourself,
How does this situation want to unfold?
If I trusted myself.
Which option would I choose?
Take another breath.
And exhale as you let this vision go.
Notice how you feel and any insights that arise.
You may or may not have made a decision at this time,
And if not,
That is totally okay.
You don't need to force an answer.
Sometimes clarity comes days or even weeks later.
Sometimes the next right step appears before the full path.
Practice tuning in to what feels right today.
Trust yourself in making decisions with your intuition.
Decisions that feel right.
Start with small things,
Like what to eat or wear that day.
You might ask yourself,
What does my body want to eat today?
Or what would feel good to wear today?
As you practice tuning in.
You will begin to trust yourself more and more and live more intuitively.
You'll become better able to make decisions with ease from this intuitive place.
I hope that this practice helps you to develop more trust in yourself and in your intuition.
Thank you for practicing with me.
And I wish you a magical day.
