Welcome to my meditation on a galaxy of stars.
Just take a few moments just to allow yourself to get into a comfortable position.
It could be laying down or it could be seated in a chair,
Whichever is comfortable for you.
And once you have yourself settled,
Just notice yourself on the floor or the chair.
Also notice the points of contact with the floor or the chair.
Just feel yourself being held by the earth,
Supported,
Grounded.
But also notice the parts of you that don't touch the floor.
Just those parts that are held and cushioned by the air,
That lovely pranic energy supporting,
Holding,
Cushioning you all at the same time.
And now slowly,
Just allowing ourselves to settle,
Just giving your awareness to your breath and your breathing.
Just notice that air as it just flows in,
As it flows out.
Letting the belly rise on the in-breath and just dropping back towards your spine on the out-breath.
Just a gentle breath,
Not forcing the breath,
Just allowing it to ebb and flow in its natural form.
Maybe even noticing as you're breathing in,
Just following that breath down from the nostrils into the back of your throat and down into your lungs.
And as you breathe out again,
Just following the breath back out the body,
Noticing that lovely warm air just brushing over your top lip.
Letting you in that breath,
Just slowly in and out.
Right now on the next breath,
Just breathing in,
Just imagining a little tiny cloud or galaxy of tiny little white stars just flowing in through your nostrils.
And again,
Just following that breath down into your heart and just feeling those lovely little stars moving down into your toes and your feet.
Just relaxing and easing each and every muscle of those stars now and just move down into the soles of your feet.
And just imagine those little stars just slowly starting to move upwards,
Just gently relaxing the ankles.
Maybe feeling those stars just swirling around your calves,
Feeling each and every breath of those stars moving comfortably up into the knees,
Relaxing those knees.
And up into the thighs.
And your hips and your pelvis.
Just see if you can visualize the whole of your lower body just gently glistening with those beautiful little stars.
Now moving those stars,
See if you can feel them gathering into your tummy and your solar plexus.
Just allowing those little stars to fill your lungs,
Just making you breathe a little more easily.
And gently flowing down freely into the shoulders.
Relaxing into your upper arms,
Your elbows,
Your arms and your wrists.
Just feel those little stars in the palms of your hands.
Just feel that light radiating from the palms.
Maybe even feel the little stars dancing on your fingertips.
Now I'm going to invite you on your next breath in just to feel those galaxy of stars just starting to gather back at your heart,
Moving upwards through the throat.
Just washing clear any tension,
Allowing that softness to come into your throat.
Moving through the jaw.
Easing into your mouth and your nostrils.
Your ears and your eyes just comfortably relaxing.
Moving now into your brain.
Just feel that little galaxy of stars washing through every neuron and every thought process relaxing,
Softening and easing.
Now in that breath,
Slow and steady,
Just breathe deeply,
Imagine that little galaxy of stars just moving back into your heart and radiating outwards.
Just illuminating the whole of your body.
Listening.
Just feeling that comfort and ease.
And relaxation and revitalisation and each breath just radiating more and more,
Just taking you deeper into that complete begin and release from this relaxation.
But the main thing is that the benefits will still continue long after this session is over.
Those little stars will be always with you if you need them.
So maybe starting to deepen your breath.
Become acutely aware of your physical body as it rests on the chair or the floor.
Just taking your attention out once more.
Maybe bring a little bit of movement in,
Wiggling your fingers and toes.
Just feeling all those sensations starting to come back to normal.
The main thing is just taking your time to allow yourself to come back into the present moment,
There's no rush.
Maybe taking a stretch if that suits you.
If you're laying down,
Just maybe rolling onto one side just for a few moments before coming up to a seated position.
Just bringing your hands into your heart centre,
Just lowering your head gently.
Offering gratitude to yourself for taking this time out for this lovely rejuvenating meditation on stars.
Thank you so much.
Namaste.
