So let's get comfortable now for this mantra meditation.

Find a comfortable position.

It can be seated or lying down.

Make sure you are warm and comfortable.

Feel free to close your eyes if that feels more comfortable.

Allow yourself to relax,

Taking slow,

Deep breaths.

Inhale slowly and deeply,

Allowing your breath to fill your body.

Hold and exhale.

Notice your abdomen rise and fall as you slowly inhale and exhale.

Keep your attention on your breath.

Allow your breath to flow gently through your body.

Breathe easily and naturally.

We are going to use a mantra to focus our attention.

You may wish to allow yourself to tap into the feeling of the mantra.

Now take a slow,

Deep breath and silently repeat,

I am calm.

Then exhale while silently repeating,

I am calm.

Continue to repeat,

I am calm on the inhalation and I am calm on the exhalation.

Allow your breath to flow slowly and easily as you repeat,

I am calm.

I am calm.

Continue to repeat,

I am calm.

I am calm.

Whenever your attention drifts to thoughts in your mind,

Sounds in your environment or sensations in your body,

Gently return to your breath and slowly and silently repeat,

I am calm.

I am calm.

Allow your body and mind to bathe in the mantra.

If a thought arises,

Come back to the simple mantra,

I am calm.

Continue with your mantra meditation until you hear my voice again.

Just breathe easily.

Now sit with your eyes closed,

Taking a moment to rest in the stillness and silence of your meditation.

Allow the peace and calm to soak into your body.

Then you can carry this peace and calm with you.

Thank you for sharing your meditation with me today.
