
Baby Loss Forgiveness Meditation

This meditation is for women who have experienced baby loss and struggle with guilt or shame around the death of their baby. You will find forgiveness and experience a deep and loving connection with your baby.
Transcript
Make yourself comfortable,
Sit with a tall spine or lie down.
If you can,
Pull up your shoulder,
Pull them back and let them fall down.
Close your eyes or focus on a point in front of you.
Relax all muscles in your body and check in with yourself.
Are you holding tension in your body?
Shoulders or the core are often points that my clients notice.
Relax and let go.
Now are you still sitting straight?
If not,
Come back in a straight position,
Releasing as much tension as you can at this moment.
Breathe in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
Relax and let go.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Relax and let go.
Everything's really warm and really fresh.
You might already feel tears,
Emotions coming up.
Let them come.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Let them go.
Any thoughts come up,
Label them.
Past,
Future.
Let them go.
Come back to the here and now.
Now I want to do a quick check in to your body today.
Check in.
Can you feel the feet on the floor?
Feel the grounding.
Feel your ankles.
Feel your calves.
Feel your knees,
Your thighs.
Feel your pelvis,
Your butt,
Your hips.
Feel your stomach,
Your core,
Your chest,
Your back.
Feel your throat,
Your neck.
Feel your face,
Your ears,
Your head.
Now if you can,
Try to feel your whole body.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Take a breath in your own tempo,
Your own way.
Now picture yourself walking on a white sandy beach and on your left the ocean moving in gentle waves.
Feel a gentle breeze on your skin.
Hear the seagulls as they talk to each other.
Hear the sound of the waves washing onto the shore.
See the glen of the sun reflected on the waves in the water like a thousand stars.
You are here.
This is your sanctuary.
Feel the sand on your toes.
The pressing of your feet into the sand as you walk.
Feeling the warm sun on your face.
Barely a cloud in the sky.
Notice the safety and the peace you feel here on this beautiful beach.
The smell of the ocean.
Breathe it in.
Notice to your right a beautiful forest.
Notice a pathway to the forest.
Walk towards the pathway and enter into the forest.
Smelling the smell of the trees.
Hearing the chirping of the birds,
Knowing that you are entering a sacred place.
Smile.
In a clearing in front of you,
Notice a beautiful water fountain.
Peaceful,
Softly bubbling.
In the centre of the fountain you see a beautiful light,
Creating safety and sacredness.
Notice the peace and comfort you feel in this presence.
Notice the energy of the water,
Healing,
Clearing,
Soft.
And the energy of the light.
The light that can hold you,
Can hold all of you and that is pure and deep and it is unconditional love for yourself.
Now in the distance you see people walking towards you.
To the right of the fountains there is another path going far out into the forest.
So there is movement far down the path.
And you realise that most people are people you lost during your lifetime.
Some of them might be younger or older than when you lost them.
Can you see a baby or babies?
Maybe they are grown ups because you lost them long ago.
Maybe they are babies and they are carried by someone else from your past.
Sometimes the age gaps don't make sense.
Sometimes someone you lost years ago who should be really old by now is showing up in its younger version holding your baby.
Don't worry about things making sense or not making sense.
Don't worry if you don't see anything.
When feelings come up focus on your breath.
All those feelings are allowed.
All those feelings are good.
Cry if you need to cry.
Shake it off if you need to shake.
Scream if you need to scream.
All is ok.
Have no fear of all the light in the fountain water can absorb and hold all fear or worry for you and create safety.
You are standing in front of the people you have lost.
They are looking at you and they are smiling.
You can see the love in their eyes and you feel it radiating towards you.
You can't help but feel this beautiful love bubbling up in you.
You feel a slight smile on your lips.
Now connect with your baby or babies.
Connect with them and ask them to come up to you.
If you have lost more than one child ask them to choose a spokesperson.
One soul that will speak for all of them.
If you want to talk to your lost ones separately you can always come back to this place another time.
Now know that everything is allowed.
Everything that is coming up for you now is ok.
You look your shield in the eyes and you feel this deep connection,
This deep love,
This unconditional love,
Belonging,
Safety.
While you look each other in the eyes you hear a voice.
That's the voice of your shield.
No matter how old it is,
Maybe your shield moves his or her mouth,
Maybe you just can hear his or her voice in your head.
Your baby looks at you and tells you,
I love you.
I always love you.
I will always be with you.
No matter what you think you did wrong,
I forgive you.
Thank you.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for inviting me in this world.
Thank you for letting me go.
I am always with you.
Please forgive me.
I am sorry.
I love you.
Brave.
You are together again here now.
This is your sanctuary.
Allow yourself to be here.
Don't be scared and don't think about the end of this meditation.
You can always come back.
Now look at your shield again and tell him or her,
I love you.
I will always love you.
I will always carry you in my heart.
No matter what you think you did wrong,
I forgive you.
Thank you.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for being a part of my life.
Thank you for loving me.
Please forgive me.
I am sorry.
I love you.
Brave.
Now I will leave you some space,
Some time.
You can listen if there is something else your baby or you want to say or you can just sit here in the presence of your baby or your babies.
Rest with your emotions and focus on your breath.
Now it is time to say goodbye.
Bye to this place.
Remember you can always come back.
This is not a forever goodbye from anyone.
Remember this is your sanctuary.
Don't forget the souls you lost will be there for you.
You will carry their love and your love for them in your heart forever.
This means they are with you all the time.
Can you feel it?
Can you feel the love?
If you want to hug them and hold them you can do so now.
You can kiss them,
Show them all the love you want.
It is time to make your way back through the forest and back to the beautiful white sand beach.
You can see your lost ones coming with you.
Every step you go they are getting brighter and brighter.
They are turning into pure light and love.
You can see and feel this light and love that surrounds you getting pulled into your heart.
Light and love in your heart that is always surrounding you.
You can see yourself radiating with this golden light.
This is the sensation in your body looking out over the ocean.
Feeling your feet in the sand.
Breathing in the salt water,
Savouring this moment.
When you are ready,
When you are ready come back into the here and now.
Keep your eyes closed,
Place your focus on your feet and again move your attention through the rest of your body.
Up through your legs,
Your stomach,
Your chest,
Your back,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your neck,
Back,
Your head.
You probably feel a difference in your body.
Notice for yourself if something has shifted in your body the way you feel.
When you are ready open your eyes,
Take some time to notice if something has shifted in your environment.
Maybe the room seems brighter,
Full of light and love.
Now if you want you can take some time to journal,
You can take some time to rest,
Take a bath,
Have a cup of tea and please let me know what is your experience with this meditation.

It was beautiful ❤️ I imagined my loved ones who passed away holding my daughter which brought me to tears but gave me a feeling of peace that she is with them. I imagined her being about 4 and what she looked like. This was a huge release. Thank you
