Welcome to this practice of gratitude Gratitude is the remedy to the mind's tendency to focus on what is lacking by instead paying attention to what is going well and what we already have This is a practice of building your inner resources so that when you are in a situation of challenge you can tap into that inner strength and build resiliency and truly for you to be here today,

Logging into this beautiful app more things have gone right than wrong for you to be alive right now Even if there is discomfort or pain in your body or challenges in your life take a moment to pause and notice how you are supported from within and without Start by resting your eyes and finding a comfortable posture Take a moment to get a sense of the movements of breath through your body Visualizing that oxygen nourishing your whole being through every cell Consider for a moment the miraculous series of events that led you to be in this body on this planet where life can be sustained See if you can get a sensorial impression of your body in space Sensations on the surface of your skin,

From your face,

Softening,

Jaw softening ears receptive,

Arms relaxed,

Sensing through the soles of your feet Now notice your mind and its incredible capacity to plan into the future to anticipate and create and its helpful ability to remember into the past Now take a moment to remember the relationships that have taught you and nourished you Notice your current emotions,

Teachers about what you need,

What you want and feel into that energy of gratitude,

Of noticing the beauty of you being here and all the things that have raised you,

Nourished you all the people that have surrounded or still surround you Now after this practice,

If you can take a moment to nourish that sense of wonder and gratitude by perhaps drawing something or writing a few words or telling a friend specifically what you appreciate about them I hope you have a wonderful day
