My thoughts can influence how I feel,

Change my mood,

And transform my beliefs.

Some thoughts are true.

Some thoughts are false.

I'm good at noticing my thoughts.

I'm great at observing.

I'm amazing at catching thoughts that are trying to spiral me into a dark place.

I can notice a thought without following it.

I can recognize a thought without believing it.

I can hear a thought without absorbing it.

I can tell myself,

I'm thinking about this right now.

I am an observer of my thoughts.

I am thinking about this right now.

And when the thought continues,

I can gently return to observing.

I am thinking about this right now.

This thought is temporary.

I am thinking about this right now.

This thought will change,

Just like all the others.

I am thinking about this right now.

This thought will pass.

I am thinking about this right now.

And as an observer,

The thoughts are coming and going.

I am thinking about this right now.

And I let go of any self-judgment that comes with it.

I'm thinking about this right now.

And I'm creating a space to be curious about this thought.

I'm thinking about this right now.

And I'm going to counter it with another statement.

I'm thinking about this right now.

I am witnessing this thought as if it were walking down the road outside of my home.

I'm thinking about this right now.

Right now.

And I'm creating space to think about what truly defines me.

I'm thinking about this right now.

And I return to my seat of observing.

And observing.

And observing my thoughts.

I'm thinking about this right now.

Even my busy thinking,

I can witness it.

And allow the thoughts to pass.

I keep my distance.

And observe the thoughts.

I'm thinking about this right now.

I am witnessing it.

I'm thinking about this right now.

As I observe the thought,

I have more clarity.

And more calm.

I'm thinking about this right now.

And I'm noticing how this thought has brought me down in the past.

Now I observe it.

And create more space to simply witness my thoughts.

I am the observer of my thoughts.

I'm thinking about this right now.

I notice my thoughts.

Without needing to respond.

I'm thinking about this right now.

And even if the thought gets louder,

I watch as it comes and goes.

I'm thinking about this right now.

And any judgment,

Resistance,

Or shame that is following this thought,

I can still watch without becoming it.

I am thinking about this right now.

I am staying grounded as the thoughts come and go.

I am an observer of my thoughts.

And every day,

I get more skillful at being an observer of my thoughts.
