Good morning and welcome to this guided meditation for a refreshing start to your Monday.
We all know too well those Monday morning blues where we dread the day and week ahead.
The weekend break is never long enough but this Monday let's release all of the fear,
Doubt and tension it tends to bring and invite peace and positivity.
Take a moment to get comfortable by finding a seat or continue lying down if you are just waking up and close your eyes.
Soften the muscles in your face,
Neck and shoulders.
Feel any tension in your back melt down into your lower body and flow out through your toes.
Take a deep breath in.
Exhale sighing it out.
Big inhale.
Exhale sighing it out.
Good.
Another deep inhale and now let it all go.
Sigh it out.
Good.
You are here and you are safe.
All the challenges of the day are miles away in this moment.
There is only you in this calming space.
Imagine you are standing in the midst of a clean beautiful tranquil forest amongst the strongest tallest trees you've ever seen.
In amazement you wonder what it would be like to become a tree so you begin to feel roots growing from the base of your spine,
Wrapping around your legs and planting you firmly into the earth.
Send those roots down and through to the center of the earth,
Anchoring yourself to its core.
You are rooted.
You feel strong and secure much like the big strong trees surrounding you and just like that you have become a tree.
You begin to feel more and more connected with nature.
Feeling the warmth of the sun resting on your highest branches and reaching tall towards the light.
Feeling the coolness of a gentle breeze.
There's a sensation,
A vibration rather,
That makes you feel as though you can take on any storm that comes your way.
Each time a strong wind blows you remain grounded as you bend and sway along with the other trees.
There is no storm,
No wind,
No challenge that you cannot withstand.
You become even stronger the more you bend and sway with the wind and you continue to flourish and thrive.
Taking a deep inhale and a long exhale.
Take a moment now to set an intention for your most positive and productive day.
What would you need in order to have a positive and productive day?
Know that you are worthy of all the things you desire and that you deserve to have a great day.
