In this meditation.
The goal of this meditation is to help you release any of that stuff that no longer serves you.
Maybe it's guilt,
Shame,
Stress,
Anxiety,
Sadness,
Frustration,
Whatever it is.
In this meditation,
We'll look for the lessons.
We'll hold those positives with us and release all of the junk that no longer serves you,
The stuff that's weighing you down.
So find that comfortable position for you,
Whatever that is.
Close your eyes and get settled in.
Take some deep breaths and let's release the things that no longer serve.
Allow your mind and body to relax.
Continue to breathe in deeply and gently,
Allowing your shoulders to be calm,
Your jaw to release any tension or stress it might feel.
And overall,
To be at ease.
Exhale any stress or tension you might feel.
And then when you're ready,
Bring your focus to your heart center,
To the place where you feel love and light.
When your heart smiles,
Go to that place and feel that love and warmth.
Go to that place and feel that love and warmth.
You're in this safe,
Beautiful,
Loving space.
Let yourself be wrapped in its love and light,
As if it's giving you a beautiful hug.
Letting you know that everything is going to be okay.
From this beautiful place,
I invite you to hold in that love and light and keep it flowing,
But also bring in something that's weighing you down.
Maybe it's stress,
Anxiety,
Guilt,
Or shame,
Anger,
Frustration,
Or sadness,
Or whatever it is.
Bring that into that space as if it was a cup of coffee or tea.
And just sit with that energy and sit with that thing there.
Don't try to dissect it yet or anything.
Just allow it to be there.
So many times we try to move so quickly through things that we miss the moment of being present,
And even sitting there with something that's a little or a lot uncomfortable.
Now,
Before we send that thing that's weighing us down and off into the distance,
We slingshot it out,
Let's make sure we take away any lessons or positives that it might be sharing with us.
So I invite you to dissect it.
Be a scientist.
Be a scientist and dig into that thing that's weighing you down and see if there's some things to learn.
Maybe it's to say or do something different,
Or something to not say or do.
Or something to not say or do.
Maybe it's pointing out a limiting belief,
Or anything that can help you shine brighter.
Try to stay emotionally detached.
I bet scientists,
You're observing,
You're dissecting,
But you're not attached to it.
Let's be here for two or three more breaths.
Now,
Keep those lessons with you.
Hold on to them and implement them in your life as needed as we move forward.
And the rest of that thing,
It's just dead weight.
It's holding you back from shining bright,
From the world seeing your full and amazing light.
So I hand you a slingshot.
You can hold it in your hands.
Feel it,
Pull it back,
And just notice how it feels.
And as you hold on to it,
I invite you to take that dead weight,
The stuff that no longer serves you,
And put it in that slingshot.
Together,
We'll pull it back.
Pull it,
Pull it.
You feel the tension rise in your body as you pull it back,
And the tension builds on the bands,
And then you let it go.
On the bands,
And then you let it go.
It shoots forward and that dead weight flies out.
And you see it,
It's going,
It's going,
It's getting smaller.
It disappears from your vision.
Not only does it disappear from your vision,
But it disappears from your heart,
From your soul.
You no longer feel that weight.
You freed yourself.
Now you have those lessons,
The things that help you shine brighter without that weight.
That is amazing.
Let's take two or three breaths and savor this beautiful,
Positive,
Glowing energy.
We feel it in our heart center.
We embrace it.
You are amazing.
You are worthy.
And you are enough,
Just the way you are.
You are the light that is shining bright.
Never stop shining.
Let's feel that light shine through us and that love emanating from us as we bring this meditation to a close with an Aum.
And as always,
The length and pitch of your Aum,
That never matters.
But feel that vibration flow through you.
So let's breathe in an Aum together.
Here we go.
Take in a deep breath.
Feel that energy flow throughout your body.
You can move and wiggle your toes and fingers,
Reawakening it.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes and join us again.
