Hello,
And welcome to a Jones and For breathwork and meditation with me,
Your teacher,
Spencer Jones.
Today,
We are going to focus on finding inner peace.
So find a position that's comfortable for you,
Whether that's laying down or seated,
Then close your eyes and start to breathe.
As you breathe in,
Breathe in through the nose and out through the nose or mouth,
Your choice.
Letting the air fill your lungs fully,
Going down into your abdomen,
Filling every area of your lungs.
And then you gently exhale,
Releasing the negative energy you have in your body through your breath.
Bringing your mind's focus to your breath,
Concentrating on the sensation that you feel as you inhale and exhale.
Other thoughts might come to your mind and that's okay.
Acknowledge that they're there,
But then dismiss them,
Bringing your focus back to your breath.
Let's continue with our breath because if we can focus our breath and get control of it,
We can learn to have control over our mind and our bodies along with our emotions.
We will breathe in for 10 counts and exhale for 10 counts.
Try to get your lungs as full as possible without any tension and then release all the air by the end.
Exhale everything you have inside your lungs.
Inhale for 10.

Back to breathing normally.
A simple way to learn to control your breath is through controlling the length of your inhale and length of your exhale.
Once you can master that and have control over that at various times,
At various counts,
Add a pause in between the inhale and exhale and see if you can hold it.
But now let's shift our mind to focus inward at us as we breathe normally.
In through our nose and out through our mouth.
Taking our focus in towards our peace,
Towards our serenity.
With every inhale you're breathing in calmness,
Peace,
Serenity,
Relaxation.
And with every exhale you get rid of doubt,
Fear,
Tension,
Stress,
Anxiety,
And worries that you have.
Use that inward breath,
Your inhale,
To bring you more peace,
More calm.
And as the exhale releases any of that extra tension that you have.
I specifically focus my thoughts,
My mind,
On words of peace,
Calm,
Serenity as I inhale.
Focusing and repeating those words in my mind as I inhale.
And as I exhale I repeat words of stress,
Anxiety,
Or specific things that I have out and push it out.
Continue to do so and listen.
Our world is crazy.
It's busy.
It's spinning round and round and it seems like things are getting faster and faster.
And it can suck us up into that twister of stress and anxiety.
We don't need to live there.
We don't need to be held captive by it.
You can break free by taking time for you,
By filling your cup,
By doing things like this meditation,
Working out,
Taking time to grow your mind.
By taking time for you and filling your cup and making sure that you breathe in peace,
Calm,
Serenity,
And learning to control your mind through meditation.
You can avoid that twister of life,
That stress,
Anxiety,
And the whirlwind that happens in the world.
But only you can make that happen.
And that's by taking control just like you are now.
Taking control and working and growing your body and your mind.
I am so proud of you for doing that,
For joining me today in this meditation.
