Today we are going to be looking at Joseph Murphy's talk on the power of decision.
Maybe you need to make some hard decisions or you're indecisive about a choice that you have to make.
We can go into the quietness,
Into the stillness of our intuition and of our internal guidance.
We will do that through prayer here in a few minutes.
But first let me just take a couple excerpts of what Joseph Murphy said in this talk on the power of decision.
So how do we make powerful decisions?
Joseph Murphy tells us decide that there is a guiding principle within you.
There is a guiding principle within you.
He said mass mind believes in tragedy,
Mostly negative.
Who are you letting choose your emotions and decisions?
He said there is no powers outside of you.
Trust infinite intelligence.
Not anything or anyone outside of you.
There is a guiding principle within you.
He says to stop denying your divinity.
Man punishes himself by misuse of the law.
Cease making illogical decisions.
And he asks if you were God,
What decision would you make?
He goes on to say there is only God.
There is nothing else but God.
I will make decisions according to that guiding principle which is absolute harmony and absolute peace.
The guiding principle within you is absolute harmony and absolute peace.
So go to that guiding principle in meditation.
Go to that guiding principle in prayer.
Go within yourself for the answers.
He says true thinking is free from fear.
Quiet the mind and still the body.
God knows only the answer.
Focus thought on solution to your problem.
Sense the feeling you would have were the perfect answer yours now.
As we meditate on the words of Joseph Murphy in this prayer,
Feel that sense that you have the perfect answer.
Joseph Murphy tells us to sit quietly and affirm these truths and to do this at least three times and are relaxed in peaceful mood and you will receive the divine impulse and inner silent knowing of the soul whereby you know that you know intuitively you will know the right answer.
I am going to repeat this prayer three times and I would like you to go ahead and relax and get in a quiet space.
Relax the mind.
Relax the body.
Enter into the stillness.
Breathing in and breathing out.
The answer,
The decision,
The choice,
The intuitive lead,
The infinite intelligence guiding you is within you.
And here's the prayer.
Whatever I need to know comes to me from the infinite presence within.
Infinite intelligence is operating through me,
Revealing to me what I need to know.
I radiate love,
Peace,
And goodwill to all mankind in thought,
Word,
And deed.
I know that what I send out comes back to me a thousandfold.
God in me knows the answer.
The perfect answer is made known to me now.
For God is the eternal now and now is the day of salvation and now is the accepted time.
Infinite intelligence and divine wisdom make all decisions through me and there is only one way.
Right action and right decision taking place in my life.
I wrap myself in the mantle of that infinite ocean of love and I know divine right decision is mine now.
I'm at peace.
I walk in the light,
Full of faith and confidence and trust in the only power there is.
I recognize the lead which comes into my conscious reasoning mind.
It is impossible for me to miss it.
God speaks to me in peace,
Not in confusion.
