Welcome to Dry Your Mind.
My name is Joey.
Let go and fall asleep fast with this Taoist sleep meditation for total surrender.
In this guided journey,
You'll drift effortlessly into rest as you reconnect with the flow of the Tao,
Soft,
Yielding,
And deeply calming.
This meditation is inspired by the wisdom of the Tao Te Ching,
Helping guide you without effort into peace and deep sleep.
This is perfect for those nights when your mind won't slow down.
This is your invitation to surrender.
Be still and let the current of deep sleep carry you home.
Tonight,
You return to your natural rhythm.
No need to strive.
No need to force.
Only flow.
Only breathe in and out.
Let your body soften now.
Let your thoughts dissolve now.
Let your awareness drift like a leaf on a gentle river.
As you listen,
Your mind will become still and your body will flow deeper and deeper into sleep,
Like water sinking into the earth.
As the Tao states,
Nothing in the world is as soft and yielding as water.
Yet,
For dissolving the hard and inflexible,
Nothing can surpass it.
You are soft.
You dissolve the day without force.
You relax with grace and without effort.
Each breath,
A wave of release.
Each exhale,
A surrender.
The Tao does nothing,
Yet nothing is left undone.
You do not have to chase anything.
You do not have to earn your rest.
It is your natural state.
Let these words become your own.
The Tao does nothing,
Yet nothing is left undone.
I have nothing to chase.
In stillness,
My heart becomes clear.
I allow my body to rest.
I allow my mind to rest.
I trust the timing of sleep,
Just as I trust the Tao.
I do not disturb the water.
I let it clear on its own.
My breath is calm.
My body is still.
Mind peaceful.
In this quiet,
I am free.
Feel the current of peace flowing freely through your body.
A soft river moves from your head down through your neck and shoulders.
Melting away effort,
Thought,
And any tension.
Let the river carry you across your chest,
Through your belly,
And down your spine.
Down into your legs,
Your feet,
Your toes.
You are light.
You are no longer holding anything.
The Tao states,
The supreme good is like water,
Which nourishes all things without trying to.
There is nothing I must do.
There is nothing I must become.
Sleep comes to me without effort.
Now imagine you are lying in a small wooden boat,
Floating on a twilight river.
Stars shimmer above you.
The sky is soft and deep.
The current carries you.
You do not need to paddle.
You do not need to swim.
You do not need to steer.
The Tao is the river.
It knows the way.
Each breath carries you downstream.
Each moment you float deeper and deeper.
Deeper into rest.
Deeper into softness.
Deeper into sleep.
The Tao says,
All streams flow to the sea because it is lower than they are.
Humility gives it its power.
You don't need to rise.
Only rest.
You don't need to control.
Only let go.
I let go and flow with the gentle river.
I let go and rest peacefully.
I let go and feel deeply calm.
I let go and fall deeper and deeper into sleep.
I let go and flow with the gentle river.
I let go and rest peacefully.
I let go and feel deeply calm.
I let go and fall deeper and deeper into sleep.
I let go and flow with the gentle river.
I let go and rest peacefully.
I let go and feel deeply calm.
I let go and fall deeper and deeper into sleep.
