Welcome.
Take a moment to find yourself here,
Just allowing yourself to settle into this moment.
You can be seated or you can lie down,
Whatever feels most comfortable for you on this inward journey of growth.
I invite you to gently close down your eyes.
Just take a moment here to observe the breath.
Notice how it flows in and flows out of the body.
Our breath can be a guide,
Can tell us a lot about where we are,
But we can also influence this to help us relax.
I invite you to take a gentle,
Slow inhale and now a gentle,
Slow exhale.
Again,
Just take in a slow inhale,
Right down into the stomach and gently release that breath.
Notice any release in the body and in the mind as you breathe and release deeply.
We'll do one more deep inhale together and one last slow,
Deep release.
Allow the breathing just to return to its natural state,
Noticing any difference between when we began and how the body feels now.
We're just going to gently relax the body together to help put us in a state of receptiveness for our journey of growth together.
Starting at the top of the head,
Just gently begin to feel a warm,
Relaxing feeling.
Moving down through the forehead,
Gently passing over the eyes,
Relaxing the cheeks and the jaw.
The jaw begins to hang loose,
Feeling relaxed.
This feeling moves down into the shoulders.
The shoulders really just melt away,
Relaxing deeply,
Feeling so relaxed.
This feeling moves down into the arms and slowly the arms begin to feel heavy,
Beginning to let go as you relax deeply.
This feeling moves down into the chest and the chest lets go of each breath that we take,
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
This feeling moves down into the stomach.
The stomach really lets go as our whole body begins to feel nice and relaxed.
This feeling moves down into the tops of the legs.
A warm,
Relaxing feeling just spreads throughout the whole legs.
The legs begin to feel heavy.
Relax as they just let go now.
And now we observe that the entire body feels completely relaxed,
In a deep,
Deep state of relaxation.
Now I invite you to imagine yourself in a beautiful and safe garden.
Really let yourself see its wonderful,
Vibrant colours of the luscious green grass,
The wonderfully colourful plants,
The magnificently tall trees that surround this garden.
Allow yourself to notice any sounds,
The wind rustling the leaves on the trees,
Any birds calling out to each other in beautiful harmonies.
Allow yourself to smell this wonderful garden.
What can you smell?
Maybe it's fresh grass on a summer's day,
The beautiful clean air of the countryside,
The smell of your favourite flower.
Just really allow this garden to feel as safe and beautiful as possible.
Now take a moment just to settle here.
Allow yourself to find a place to sit here in the garden.
This may be your first time sitting here in the garden.
Maybe you have been here a few times before.
Maybe you're sat on the stump of a tree or a soft mound of grass.
Whatever feels most comfortable for you.
From here start to look around the garden and notice that you feel connected to the earth,
To the trees,
To the plants,
To all of the life in this garden and to any space in between.
It is all connected to you.
Really allow yourself to feel this connection.
Maybe you put your hands into the grass and feel the earth beneath you as this connection to this garden deepens within you.
You start to look around the garden and notice that it represents parts of yourself.
Maybe these parts are your confidence.
Maybe it's your self-esteem,
Your love for yourself.
Maybe it's your dreams and hopes for your life.
You know in your heart what this garden represents to you.
Take a moment here to really feel this in the garden.
Upon noticing this and feeling this deeply you realize the garden is growing.
It's becoming more wonderful,
Stronger,
Sprouting new offshoots of beautiful vibrant greens,
New growth in areas of the garden that we did not expect.
You see the trees becoming stronger and as this garden grows you feel this in your mind and body.
As the tree blooms so do you.
As the plants spread their petals so do you.
As the birds call their songs so do you.
This garden becomes a wonderful place deep within you that continues to grow with each passing day and each time you revisit this garden you notice new and wonderful growth.
It feels more safe and builds strength deep within you to whatever parts of you needed it most.
And as we watch this beautiful garden grow beautiful and green like these deep parts within you you remember that the garden needs to be tended for.
You need to tend and nourish yourself just like this garden to allow those parts of you to grow.
And now knowing this garden is always here for you to return to you gently begin to let go of the garden remembering that it's always there growing and building strength in the parts of you that need it most.
And gently as we let go of the garden knowing we can revisit whenever we need we come back into the body gently feeling our fingers and our toes maybe taking a deep breath in and a deep breath out as we arrive back here in the present moment gently beginning to let the eyes flicker open as you go back to your day feeling this sense of peace and strength within.
Namaste
