Welcome to this meditation where we are going to invite in the power and the energy of the full moon to help us let go of anything that doesn't belong to us and make space for what does.
So I ask you now to get yourself situated to however you would like to partake in this meditation whether you'd like to be sitting somewhere,
Laying down,
Wherever you are in your most comfortable position,
Inviting you to close your eyes and we'll start by taking a long slow deep breath in and letting that go.
Feel free to adjust your body now anywhere you're feeling any discomfort and just allow yourself to sink into your most comfortable space.
One more time let's take a long slow deep breath in and gently let that go just allowing our breathing now to return to its normal pace and length just noticing that easy breath coming in and out of your body taking a moment to focus on your heartbeat.
I want you to fill that belly up and push it up as you breathe in letting it flatten as you release all of the emotions that you arrived to this meditation with all of your thoughts perceived pressures from your life they all release with each breath and in this moment you are weightless and you are light there's no right or wrong there's only this moment no matter what you call your higher belief whether you use the name God,
Jesus,
Creator,
Universe or just higher power maybe you don't name it at all you just know there's this higher belief in your life you are reminded to honor all that you are all that you were created for and how you choose to honor you it's to be up to you it can be in growing your relationship with yourself taking time for rest and relaxation retreating into nature or stepping into your gifts in this moment you have nowhere else to be and nothing else to do so we take another long slow deep breath in and letting that go as you sink deeper into a state of relaxation just inviting calm to take over your body and your mind.
Courage what comes up for you when you hear that word courage you are reminded that you are more courageous than you give yourself credit for you have overcome stepped into and experienced more courage than you think I want you to take a moment now and think about a time in your life that took courage how about confidence what comes up for you when you hear that word confidence we often admire confidence in others think to ourselves that we wished we had the confidence they did but you ever stop and think that someone is saying that about you confidence shows up in several ways and it's never the same for two people most often when we're seeing confidence in someone else because it's being mirrored back to us take a minute now and think about moments in your life when you were confident breathing deep now I want you to breathe all the way from your toes in through all the way to the top of your head and release as we scan through our bodies I want you to feel who you truly are anywhere you feel tension or pain we will release it and with that release anything that blocks you from being that person we'll start by breathing in through the bottoms of our feet through our toes and our heel and our ankles just letting those feet completely relax and up into our legs into our shins and our calves allowing our legs to be so completely relaxed that like they're no longer there as we continue to breathe up through into our knees focusing on the fronts of our knees and the backs of our knees and into our legs our hamstrings and our calves breathing in relaxation allowing our bodies to fall deeper into that relaxation state breathing out with our surrender and our fully relaxed legs we continue to focus up through our glutes and our hips and into our lower back again allowing all of that tension just to release from our bodies moving around from our low back into our bellies and down through our root chakra moving up through our stomach our diaphragm and into our chest and landing in our heart center taking a moment again to focus back on our heartbeat a rhythm of life as we go around through our back allowing every piece of our spine to just relax and sink into the surface beneath it fully relaxing our back moving up into our shoulders allowing them to drop feeling a deeper state of calm and peace coming over our body down through our arms our elbows and our forearms through our wrists and our hands and landing in our fingertips just noticing where our hands have fallen whether they're beside us upon us wherever they are just completely relaxed not clenched just letting go bringing our awareness back to our neck and our throat up into our jaw and allowing that jaw to completely relax the tongue inside your mouth also relax moving up through your face your ears your forehead and landing in the top of your head just now picturing our entire bodies just in its deepest state of relaxation no tension no worry nowhere to go just here now we're going to allow our bodies to just stay in the states of relaxing for a few moments welcoming the complete warmth calm and peace i will keep my eye on the time and you will hear my voice again in just a few minutes bringing some awareness back into this moment noticing how your body feels your mind taking another long slow deep breath in and gently letting that go in this full moon energy we release any lack of confidence or courage we release the perceived blocks we place in front of ourselves we release our self-limiting beliefs we release our scarcity mindset we release our fears repeat after me silently and lovingly to yourself i am loved i belong i am seen i am heard i am safe and once more i am loved i belong i am seen i am heard i am safe you can start now to wiggle your fingers and your toes become aware of the room around you when you are ready and only then you begin to move parts of your body shifting in space you're laying down rolling over to one side and eventually when you feel ready you can begin to open your eyes thank you for taking part in this meditation
