Welcome beautiful soul.
Allow yourself to settle into a comfortable position.
Knowing that nothing is required of you in this moment.
Let your hands rest softly.
Allow your shoulders to loosen,
Your jaw to unclench.
And your breathing to find its own rhythm.
Take a slow breath in.
Receiving the breath as though it has travelled a great distance to find you.
And as you breathe out.
Allow yourself to release the weight of everything you have been carrying.
And breathe in again slowly and tenderly.
And breathe out,
Softening into the support beneath you.
Imagine that breath moving through your body as a spiritual presence,
A loving invisible current reminding you that you are held even when you cannot feel it.
You don't need to understand your journey today.
You don't need to find an answer.
You are simply being invited to walk for a little while through the sacred landscape of your own soul.
In your mind's eye,
See yourself standing at the edge of a field.
And the tender light before dawn.
The sky is still dark.
But a faint silver glow is gathering along the horizon.
The world is suspended between night and morning.
Between what has ended and what has not yet begun.
The field before you is empty.
Its earth is dark and bare.
And its furrows waiting silently beneath the paling sky.
There are no flowers here.
No trees heavy with root.
No visible signs that anything beautiful could grow in this place.
And yet,
Something within you recognizes this field.
It is the ground of your own journey.
It holds the dreams that have not yet taken form,
The prayers that seem to have gone unanswered,
And the parts of your life that remain uncertain.
It holds every loss you could not explain,
Every ending you did not choose,
And every hope you were once afraid to name.
And at your side hangs a small pouch made from soft,
Weathered cloth.
And you reach inside and feel that it is filled with seeds and each seed carries something from your heart.
One holds a dream you have carried for many years.
One holds a prayer whispered during a lonely night.
One holds a love that changed you.
Another holds a version of yourself you had to leave behind.
There are seeds of forgiveness,
Healing,
Courage and belonging.
Seeds of beginnings you cannot yet imagine.
Seeds form from the very experiences you once believed had broken you.
You step into the field.
And you feel the cool earth beneath your feet and the morning air against your skin.
And with each step the field seems to breathe beneath you,
As though the ancient soul of the earth knows you have come.
You find the first furrow and kneel upon the ground.
And for a moment,
You simply place your hands on the soil.
Just cool and steady.
The Earth doesn't hurry you.
She doesn't explain to you your sorrow or make it beautiful.
She does not tell you that you should have healed by now.
She simply receives you.
And perhaps this is what makes your tears begin to fall.
And that's not because you are weak,
But because you have finally reached a place where you no longer need to hold them back.
Allow whatever you have been carrying to rise within you.
You don't need to name it.
You don't need to enter the whole story again.
Simply acknowledge the feeling and allow it to be witnessed by the loving presence surrounding you.
A tear falls upon the earth.
In another.
And the soil receives each one as though it was sacred water.
Nothing is wasted here,
Not one tear.
One prayer,
Not one moment in which you thought you had lost your way.
Reach into the pouch and take out the first seed.
Hold it between your palms and silently place within it something you are ready to surrender.
May be a worry you can no longer carry.
A question you cannot answer.
A dream you are tired of trying to force into being.
A grief that needs somewhere softer to rest.
And when you are ready.
Press the seed into the earth.
Cover it with soil and whisper within your heart.
I release this into hands greater than my own.
Take another seed.
And place within it a hope that remains alive somewhere inside you,
Even if it's very small.
Perhaps it's the hope of healing.
The hope of feeling joy again.
A hope of finding your way into a life that feels peaceful,
Meaningful and true.
Plant this seed beside the first and whisper,
I trust what is growing beyond what I can see.
Continue along the furrow,
Planting your seeds one by one.
There's no need to hurry.
With every seed,
Something within you becomes lighter.
You are not abandoning your dreams.
You are releasing them from the tightness of fear.
You are allowing the unseen wisdom of life to work with them.
And as you plant,
Your tears begin to fall,
Watering the ground.
And then you become aware of a presence beside you.
Perhaps you experience this presence as the divine,
As spirit,
As an angel,
An ancestor,
The soul of the earth,
Or simply as a warm and loving light.
You don't need to give it a name.
You only need to feel that you are no longer alone in the field.
Presence kneels beside you and places a hand over yours.
And a message moves into your heart.
Beloved.
You have mistaken the darkness for emptiness.
But the darkness is where the seed is held.
It is where the roots awaken.
It is where life begins its hidden work.
You look across the field and understand that the bare earth is not barren.
It is expectant.
It is holding mysteries beneath its surface.
And every seed you have planted is being received.
Every prayer has entered the sacred ground.
Even now,
While nothing appears to be happening,
The invisible work has begun.
See the light changing around you.
Days and nights pass across the field,
Rain falls,
Moonlight pours over the soil,
Wind moves across the furrows,
And still there are no visible chutes.
Yet beneath the ground,
Tiny roots begin to stir.
See them reaching through the darkness,
Delicate.
Determined threads of life,
Responding to a wisdom written within them.
The seed doesn't question the darkness.
It doesn't fear that it has been buried and forgotten.
It surrenders to the breaking open that must happen before it can become what it has always meant to be.
And perhaps you,
Too,
Have known seasons of breaking open.
Times when the shape of your life changed and the familiar shell around you could no longer remain.
You may have thought you were falling apart,
But perhaps some part of you was beginning to grow.
Perhaps the darkness was not your ending.
Perhaps it was the sacred place in which your roots were learning to reach more deeply into truth.
Place one hand over your heart and the other over your lower abdomen and feel that beautiful life within you.
There are dreams taking root in places and your mind cannot enter.
There is healing unfolding beneath the surface.
There are answers finding their way towards you.
There is strength for gathering in the hidden chambers of your being.
You don't need to dig up the seeds to see whether they are growing.
You don't need to force open the flower.
Your work is to tend the ground.
Offer what love you can and trust the sacred timing of what is becoming.
Now,
See yourself returning to the field at sunrise.
Golden light streams across the land.
The air is warm and birdsong rises from the hedgerows.
And as you approach the first furrow,
You notice a single green shoot emerging from the soil.
You kneel and touch it.
Then you see another and another.
And all across the field,
A new life is rising.
The land that once appeared empty is shimmering with tender green shoots.
Shoots are becoming stems and stems unfurl into leaves.
Buds begin to open beneath the sun.
Flowers rise where your tears once fell.
Golden grain moves like waves beneath the wind,
And the field has remembered every seed.
The Earth has transformed every sorrow offered to her.
Stand now among the flowers and feel their petals brushing against your hands.
Each bloom carries a blessing born from something you once thought had been lost.
Here is the compassion your grief opened within you.
Here is the courage you discovered when you had no choice but to continue.
Here is the wisdom gathered through waiting.
Here is the tenderness that survived.
Here is the new dream that could only grow after the old one was surrendered.
The loving presence stands beside you more and whispers.
Nothing offered in love is ever wasted.
Nothing surrendered in faith is ever forgotten.
Your tears have watered holy ground.
Let those words settle within you.
Your tears were not evidence that you had failed,
They were part of the blessing.
They softened what had grown hard.
They carried your prayers into the earth.
They made the ground ready for life you could not yet see.
And in the distance,
The sun rises higher,
Bathing the field in radiant gold.
And you understand that you are not being asked to celebrate every sorrow or pretend that loss did not hurt.
You are simply being shown that sorrow does not have the final word.
Life continues its sacred work.
Love continues beneath the surface.
And the soul knows how to make a garden from the places where you once knelt and wept.
Take a slow,
Nourishing breath into your heart.
And as you breathe out,
Say,
I trust the seeds you've planted.
Breathe in again.
I honour the tears that watered them.
And breathe out.
I welcome what is ready to rise.
See yourself gathering a small bundle of golden grain from the field.
Hold it against your heart as a symbol of the harvest that is already making its way towards you.
You may not yet know what form it will take.
You do not need to know.
Just carry only this remembrance.
What trembles in darkness is not always lost.
What breaks open is not always destroyed.
And what is sown in tears may one day rise in beauty,
Carrying more light than you ever imagined possible.
Begin to feel the surface beneath you once again.
Notice the intelligent movement of your breath and the beautiful beating of your heart.
Feel your fingers and your toes.
Returning slowly while keeping a little of the golden field within you.
And when you are ready,
Open your eyes.
And may you leave this meditation trusting that the divine is still working in the unseen places.
May you know that your prayers have been received and may every tear you have offered to the earth become sacred water for the beautiful life growing within you.
Thank you for sharing this sacred journey with me today.
And before you move back into your day,
Take a moment to honour yourself.
Not only for the seeds you are planting,
But for everything you have already lived through.
You may not always recognize your own courage,
Yet you are still here,
Still breathing,
Still loving and still carrying within you the possibility of a beautiful new beginning.
If life feels dark or uncertain,
Remember our field.
Remember that beneath the soil,
Something may already be reaching towards the light.
Be tender with yourself while it grows.
I'm Joanne and it has been a privilege to walk beside you this little while.
Until we meet again,
May your heart feel held,
Your spirit feel strengthened,
And may you trust that even the tears you sow today become the flowers you walk amongst tomorrow.
With love from my heart to yours.
Namaste.
You
