Welcome dear one.
And before we begin,
There is something I would like you to know.
You do not have to arrive here feeling peaceful.
You do not have to leave your worries at the door.
You don't need to quiet your thoughts before you are welcomed.
You don't need to be anything other than who you are in this moment.
Bring your whole self.
Bring your tiredness.
Bring your questions.
Bring your hopes.
And bring your heavy heart if that is what you carry today.
The Divine has room for all of you.
And so do I.
So take a gentle breath in.
And slowly let it go.
Another soft breath in.
And out.
And notice that you don't have to force the breath,
It just comes.
Like waves meeting the shore,
Like the tide returning home.
For this moment,
Allow your body to be supported.
Feel the chair beneath you,
Or the bed,
Or the floor.
Notice that something is already holding your weight.
You are not holding yourself up alone.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let the muscles around your eyes relax.
Nothing to perform.
Nothing to achieve.
Only this moment.
Only this breath.
And perhaps you have spent a long time being the one who carries everything,
Holding families together,
Holding responsibilities together,
Holding plans,
Worries,
Schedules and expectations together.
Being the strong one,
Being the dependable one.
Being the one who keeps going.
And perhaps somewhere along the way,
You forgot what it feels like to be carried.
Today,
You do not need to carry everything.
Today,
You are invited to set some of it down.
Not forever.
Just for now.
Imagine that every worry you have been holding is a small stone in your hands.
Some stones are old and familiar.
Some are fresh and heavy.
Some belong to today.
Some you have been carrying for years.
And one by one,
Imagine placing these stones down upon the Earth.
The Earth receives them without judgment.
Without impatience,
Without asking you to pick them back up.
And feel your hands becoming lighter.
Feel your chest becoming a little more spacious.
Feel the breath moving a little more freely.
And if a worry returns,
Simply place it down again.
As many times as needed.
There is an ancient rhythm woven through all of life.
The trees,
They do not bloom every day of the year.
The moon does not remain full every night.
The ocean does not hold every wave at its highest point.
Nature understands something we often forget.
Rest is not a reward.
Rest is part of the rhythm.
So if you are tired.
.
.
Deeply tired.
Soul tired.
Heart die.
Body tired.
Let this be a sacred permission.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to soften.
You are allowed to stop striving for a little while.
You and place a hand upon your heart if that feels comfortable and feel the warmth of your hand.
Feel the steady beat beneath it.
Your heart has carried you through every season of your life.
Through joy.
Through loss.
Through uncertainty.
Through beginnings and endings.
It has never asked you to be perfect.
It has only asked you to keep coming home.
Quietly whisper within yourself,
I am hell.
I can rest.
And again,
I am hell.
I can rest.
And let these words just settle inside you.
Not as something to convince yourself of,
But as something to remember.
Now imagine that above you is a vast open sky,
Endless and peaceful.
Filled with a light and this light asks nothing of you it does not measure your worth it does not count your mistakes it doesn't compare you to anyone else it simply shines and as it surrounds you Notice something beautiful.
You don't need to reach for the light.
The light reaches for you.
It rests upon your face,
On your shoulders,
On your hands,
On your heart.
And as naturally as sunlight resting upon a meadow,
As naturally as rain falling upon the earth.
You have never needed to earn its worth,
Only to notice that it is already there.
And perhaps this is what the divine has been whispering all along.
Not,
Try harder.
Not become more,
Not carry more.
But simply beloved.
You do not have to hold yourself together alone.
I am holding you.
Rest.
Let yourself receive that.
Even if only for this breath.
Even for only this moment.
Imagine floating effortlessly in calm,
Gentle water.
You're not struggling to stay afloat.
The water,
It just holds you.
And the more you trust it,
The more supported you become.
And in the same way the love of the divine delights in holding you.
You do not need to fight for your place here.
You don't need to prove your worthiness.
You are already held.
Stay here for a few quiet breaths.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Nothing to become.
Are we this?
Only now.
Only the miracle of being alive.
And as you prepare to return the rest of your day,
Know that you do not leave this piece behind.
It walks with you.
It breathes with you.
It waits for you whenever you need to pause.
And when the world feels heavy,
Remember.
The ground still holds you,
The breath still carries you,
And the divine still surrounds you.
May your heart grow lighter with every breath.
May your peace find you in ordinary moments.
May you trust the wisdom of your own soul.
And may you rest in the gentle embrace of the divine,
Knowing that you are loved exactly as you are.
You are held.
You can rest.
Rest dear heart.
The Divine is keeping watch.
And now like a soft blessing carried on the breath.
Dharitasmi.
I am hell.
Vishram Yame I rest.
Starry.
.
.
Trust me.
I am held.
Vishram Yamini I rest.
Darita's me.
Vishrawammyami Darita.
Me.
Vishram Yami Dharitasmi Vishrawam.
Yummy.
Darita.
Must be Vishram Yamini.
I rest.
