
Full Moon Guided Inner Journey + Meditation
This guided journey is perfect for clarifying and alchemizing during a full moon. Using the natural wisdom of the body and the cyclical intelligence it already holds to support you. This is a wonderful practice if you are quite sensitive, or the idea of constantly having to "release" is overwhelming. Here we practice asking for support and handing something "over" to something larger than ourselves. A gentle yet powerful practice to support you.

Welcome to this guided inner journey,
One that is beautiful to use during a full moon,
Where we have the support and illumination of the moon to help us alchemize that which is ready to shift and change.
This practice is a gentle one,
Reminding you that big change,
Huge shifts,
Don't always need to be intense,
And that there's a lot of support from the field.
We just need to know how to call upon it.
So find yourself in a comfortable seated position,
Or if laying down feels more supportive to you,
Then take that posture.
But wherever you are,
Notice.
Notice if you are efforting in a way that is unnecessary.
If you're seated,
Is your posture really rigid because you're trying to seek the perfect meditation posture?
If you're laying down,
Are you trying to be so symmetrical?
Are you trying to relax in either posture by force,
By some preconceived idea of how the posture should look today?
So with no judgment,
Just notice,
Where is there effort that's not required here right now?
And offer that effort over,
Meaning you give permission for the texture of that energy pocket that was being expressed in force,
You allow it to change into something else.
So we may say,
Release force,
Release efforting,
But what we're really saying is I give you permission to change.
So let that experience be one that's felt like the body right now.
Just notice where there's a pocket of effort or gripping,
And offer it over to something else.
Now find somewhere else.
And if you say,
Oh,
But I am already good,
I invite you to go back in.
There's always something deeper.
Where am I efforting and forcing?
Hand it over.
Now feeling the weight of the body on the surface that you are resting on.
And now we co-regulate with the earth.
We place our attention on the field of the earth.
And if the mind has no idea how to do that,
Where's the visual it asks?
Shift from visualization,
Move your attention to the ears and listen to the guidance of my voice and allow that to guide the sensation in the body.
So co-regulate with the earth by allowing the field of the earth to merge with your own field.
So you give your field permission to open up to the groundedness of the earth's field.
Beautiful.
Breathe that in.
Rather than visualizing vines going down to the earth,
Which can be supportive and beneficial and really helpful.
Today you're playing with a different sense.
You're using the field to help you ground by opening your own field up to the field of the earth,
Grounded by the earth.
Where am I efforting?
Hand it over.
Now open your field,
Open your body up to the field of the full moon.
Notice how that is received by the body.
Perhaps an expansion of the cells as the illumination of the moon casts itself over the body.
The moon codes,
The light codes casting themselves upon the body and you let the cells receive that.
Not information,
Not a concept,
Just feel the cells as the body attunes to the field of the full moon.
This body,
This moon,
This moment,
These conditions,
This life,
Season are unique.
So release any expectations of what this should feel like and just let yourself commune with the full moon.
Hello,
I welcome you.
I welcome your wisdom.
Show me,
Show me,
Show me.
I think I know,
But show me.
Humble path and as you are being illuminated by the full moon,
Scan the body and notice where there is perhaps density or if you're visualizing yourself in the glow of the moon,
Notice where parts of the body are perhaps not illuminated.
Stuckness,
Contraction,
Protection,
Avoidance.
Just notice and then bring your awareness to that part of the body.
Not only visualize it with the mind's eye,
But now slide your awareness into the actual body part.
Connect to it and be with a sensation that's there.
If there's nothingness,
If there's frozenness,
Let that be the experience that you're with.
Let that be the experience you're with.
The mind will tell you nothing's happening.
It's not the case.
Feel the beat of your heart.
There's always something happening.
Stay with a sensation.
Where did your mind go?
Back to the part of the body.
I'm right here with you,
You say.
Me,
The moon,
The part of the body,
All of the consciousness is here.
And stay with it.
If emotion begins to arise,
Let it come.
Somatic release through the body,
The feeling path,
Hand it over,
Help me move this.
I allow you to change into something else.
I let go of expectation and I ask,
Help me move this,
Help me hand this over.
And now allow that part of the body to move this energy out into the field of the moon.
The moon can illuminate it.
No force from you,
No performative releasing.
Today,
We allow the gentle process of handing over and asking the full moon to help illuminate what needs to be illuminated and transformed.
Where do I make it harder than it needs to be?
Where do I force?
Where do I think I have to earn the help that's here?
And now bringing your awareness to something that you might be working with in this season,
That you'd like help with.
A belief you're ready to transform.
A situation in your life that's challenging.
A behavioral pattern of your own that you're tired of.
One that you've outgrown,
It's served its purpose and it's ready to explore something new.
Bringing this to the heart.
Now asking the moon,
This is what I'm bringing to the table today.
This is what I believe is ready to transform.
Before I ask you to help me with this,
Is there anything I need to know?
Is there something I'm not seeing?
Is there something else that actually needs to be touched on first?
Is there anything I need to know?
With the powerful glow of the moon upon you,
You ask,
Please help me as I hand this over.
Please help me transform and alchemize whatever is stuck or looping in this experience,
Or this belief,
Or this thought,
Or this sensation.
Help me complete this loop.
Let this energy change for me.
The glow of the moon is the fire alchemy.
So let it be more gentle today.
Sometimes fire is needed,
And sometimes we ask what's there to help us.
I hand this over.
Handing it over doesn't absolve you of responsibility.
It's part of the human experience to integrate and choose how we show up.
But you don't have to carry it anymore.
So you offer it over,
You allow the energy to change.
And then ask,
What was I trying to achieve,
Or what was I seeking?
Or how did this belief,
Or pattern,
Or behavior,
Or experience serve me in some way?
Not how is it good,
But how is it serving me or my story?
And just let the information come.
For instance,
If you are working with a belief that you're powerless,
And that belief served me because if I'm powerless,
Then I never have to take action,
Because any action I take won't yield any result.
And so I get to stay in the moment,
Safe,
And I let fear win,
And I didn't have to risk anything.
So it was serving me because I didn't have to risk anything.
So the answer might not be something that the ego or the mind loves,
But just let the field of the moon illuminate what need was in the pattern,
What you were seeking in the pattern,
How it was serving something.
And then thank it for its service.
I allow you to change.
I allow change.
Where am I resisting change?
Change is forward momentum.
Where am I gripping?
Hand it over.
Where am I forcing?
Hand it over.
Where do I think I know better?
Hand it over.
The vast and limitless power of the illumination of the moon,
Helping you see what you couldn't see,
Helping you gain access to the unconscious,
So you can bring it into the light.
Now bringing your awareness back to your body,
The skin on your body.
Feel your skin vibrating and pulsing in the glow of the moon.
Detaching,
Releasing the connection with the field,
The conscious connection.
So the field is always there,
Yet you're releasing the awareness and bringing it back fully to the body.
You may feel a shift there as you bring your attention back to the body and release the field of the moon,
Grounding back into the field of the earth.
Feeling the weight of your body on the surface that you're practicing.
And now inhaling deeply,
Sigh out the mouth.
Let movements come into the body.
Inhale deeply,
Sigh out the mouth.
And last time you'll inhale and hum down into the heart.
Mouth closed,
Hum.
Bringing the hands up to the face,
Keeping the eyes closed,
Just feeling the skin on the face,
Touching the eyes.
Slowly,
Slowly coming back into the space you're in,
The walls,
The roof,
The floor,
The space around you.
And as you begin to flutter the eyes open,
Having gratitude for the simplicity of the practice today.
There's depth in simplicity,
Helping yourself by letting nature and life help you.
Reciprocity.
Now taking a moment to journal about anything.
If anything came up that you want to release with fire,
You can write it down on a piece of paper and burn it.
But also know that it's not a required step.
Trust what you've offered over trust the support that was here and breathe into that simplicity.
