A very simple and easy place to begin with meditation is a simple mindfulness practice. Being present to yourself and focusing on your breathing, without judgment, without the need to change anything is such a beautiful way to start the day. When practiced consistently, this meditation alone can change your life.

Welcome.

Thank you for showing up to yourself.

Take a moment to arrive in the space you are in.

Take a deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Again,

Breathe in and breathe out.

A last time,

Breathe in and close your eyes while breathing out.

Feel how you are connected to the ground.

Feel gravity pulling you down.

Feel where in your body you feel this grounding the most.

Is it your feet?

Is it your legs?

Your arms?

Sit with this grounding for a while.

Now focus on your breath.

Notice how you inhale.

Notice how you exhale.

There is no need to change anything.

There is no need to control anything.

Just observe your breathing.

Whenever a thought arises,

Notice the thought and come back to your breathing.

Let's take a deep breath through your nose.

Whenever a sensation arises,

Notice the sensation and come back to your breathing.

Whenever a feeling arises,

Notice the feeling and come back to your breathing.

Just notice.

Be present to yourself.

Be present to yourself.

Now,

Come back to your body.

And feel how it is grounded.

Slowly move your fingers,

Your toes.

Slowly move your hands,

Your feet.

Take a deep breath through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Again,

Breathe in and breathe out.

A last time,

Breathe in and open your eyes while breathing out.

Welcome.
