Welcome.

Take a moment to arrive.

Whoever you are,

Wherever you are,

However you feel,

Whatever you're thinking,

You're welcome.

Make sure that you are comfortable,

That you are in a safe place,

And that nobody can interrupt you for a while.

When you are ready,

Take a deep breath,

And on the exhale,

Close your eyes.

Take a moment to notice your breathing.

Where do you feel the inhale?

Where do you feel the exhale?

Just be with your breathing for a while.

Now,

Let's go on a journey.

Imagine that you are in your ideal life.

In this version of life,

Everything is exactly as you want it.

It is your version of a perfect life.

Imagine you are in bed,

And you just woke up.

Your eyes are still closed,

And you slowly become aware of the reality around you.

What do you feel?

What do you hear?

What do you smell?

Is there anyone in the room with you?

Now,

You slowly open your eyes,

And you see the room that you are in.

What does it look like?

Where are you?

What is the light like in this room?

What climate are you in?

What do you hear?

You get out of the bed,

And you start with your morning routine.

What does that look like?

What do you do in the morning in this ideal life of yours?

If you tune into how you feel while doing your morning routine,

What emotions come up?

What words would you use to describe your state?

Now imagine that you walk through your house.

Maybe you are going to the kitchen to have a cup of tea.

What does the house look like?

What colors do you see?

What is the feeling of the air?

What does this house feel like to you?

Now imagine that your morning routine has been completed.

You have washed yourself and dressed yourself and done all the things for you,

And you decide to step into your work.

What does that look like?

Where do you go?

Do you work from home?

Do you walk to the place where you work?

Do you take a means of transportation to the place you work?

What does that journey look like?

How does that journey make you feel?

Now imagine that you have arrived in the place where you will work.

What does that space look like?

How does that space feel to you?

Who else is there?

Do you work alone?

Do you work with others?

If there are other people in the same space,

Who are they?

How is your relationship with these people?

How do they make you feel?

Imagine now that it is time for lunch.

What does your lunch break look like?

Where do you go?

Who is there with you,

If anyone?

What do you perceive in the place where you will have lunch?

What does it smell like?

What do you choose to eat?

What do you choose to nourish your body?

Now imagine you have eaten to satisfaction,

And you decide to continue the day.

Where do you go?

What will you do there?

Does this involve other people?

How do you feel while experiencing these activities?

Now imagine it is late afternoon,

And you stop for a moment wherever you are,

And you notice your surroundings,

Your body,

Your breath,

How you feel.

What does this all look like?

Do you feel the gratitude you have for having created your ideal life?

Now imagine that your professional activities are done,

And it is time to enjoy yourself.

What do you choose to do?

Where do you go?

Who else do you enjoy yourself with?

How would you describe the feeling while being part of this experience?

Now imagine that while you are enjoying yourself after your professional activities,

You take a moment to just stop and notice what is going on for you in your body,

In your mind,

And in the world around you.

What is it you perceive?

Is there anything that especially makes you feel good?

Do you experience pleasure?

Do you experience joy?

Are you happy?

Now imagine that the day has passed,

And you return home.

As you prepare for sleep,

You decide to engage in an evening routine.

What does that look like?

What do you like to do before going to sleep?

Do you do this alone or with others?

How do you feel in this moment?

Finally,

After a beautiful and full day,

You get into bed,

And as you close your eyes,

You think of the day that has just passed.

How you got up,

How you walked through the house,

How you went to the space where you work,

How you worked,

How you interacted with people.

How do you feel about this day?

And as you gently fall asleep in your imagined ideal life,

You come back to the now,

To the here,

To your body in this very moment.

Take a moment to just notice your breathing.

When you feel you are ready,

You can open your eyes.

Welcome and well done.

Thank you , Joachim. As I listened , it allowed me to appraise my life as it is right now, hour by hour and I found much to be grateful for. And that feels ideal! It leaves the door open for change and transformation - all is welcome here 😊
