Self-love is the one thing that all practices come down to. It is the core of our mental, emotional, and spiritual development. Surprisingly, it is very often forgotten, or touched upon only in the periphery of other concepts. This simple practice focuses on a self-love practice that is easy to incorporate in your daily routine.

Take a moment to arrive in this space.

Whoever you are,

However you feel,

Whatever you think,

You are welcome.

Close your eyes and focus on what is present in you.

How do you feel?

What thoughts come up?

Which sensations are most present?

Now,

Focus on your emotional state.

Can you name the emotions that are present in you right now?

Whatever they are,

Welcome them,

Accept them.

They will pass.

Remember that you are present in your own world.

Remember that you are not your emotional state.

Now,

Focus on your thoughts.

Can you name the thoughts that are present in you right now?

Whatever they are,

Welcome them,

Accept them.

They will pass.

Remember that you are not your thoughts.

Now,

Focus on the sensations you experience.

Can you name the sensations that are present right now?

Whatever they are,

Welcome them,

Accept them.

They will pass.

Remember that you are not your sensations.

Now,

Breathe.

Simply breathe and feel how the air flows in and out of your body.

When emotions arise,

Simply observe them.

They will pass.

Come back to your breath.

When thoughts arise,

Simply observe them.

They will pass.

Come back to your breath.

Come back to your breath.

When sensations arise,

Simply observe them.

They will pass.

They will pass.

Come back to your breath.

You are now present to yourself.

Be grateful for the ability that you have to be present to yourself.

Always.

Now,

Using your inner voice,

Tell yourself,

I love you,

I love myself.

Observe what happens.

What emotions come up.

What thoughts arise.

Which sensations do you feel?

Whatever they are,

Welcome them,

Accept them.

They will pass.

Now,

Using your inner voice,

Say it again,

But louder.

I love you,

I love myself.

Observe what happens.

Which emotions,

Thoughts and sensations arise.

Whatever they are,

Welcome them,

Accept them.

They will pass.

Now,

Using your inner voice,

Say it again,

As loud as you can.

I love you,

I love myself.

Observe what happens.

Which emotions,

Thoughts and sensations come up.

Whatever they are,

Welcome them,

Accept them.

They will pass.

Now,

Come back to your breath.

Come back to the space that you're in.

Using your real,

Physical voice,

Tell yourself,

I love you,

I love myself.

Then,

Gently open your eyes.

Welcome.

You are loved.
