A better relationship with yourself is the key to a consistently better life. An important part of that relationship is being accepting of who you are, and all parts of yourself. This meditation takes you to a place of exploration to find out how accepting you are. It then uses a simple but powerful technique to improve how you relate to yourself.

Welcome.

Before anything else,

Take a moment to thank yourself for being here right now.

It's beautiful that you have shown up to yourself.

Take a deep breath.

Whoever you are,

You are welcome.

Take another deep breath.

However you feel,

You are welcome.

One more deep breath.

Whatever is present in you right now,

You are welcome.

Take a moment to sit and notice what comes up.

Now,

If you haven't already done so,

Close your eyes.

Breathe.

There is nothing you need to do to be allowed to be.

Are you allowing yourself to be?

Now take a deep breath.

And notice in this moment which parts of yourself you accept.

Now take another deep breath.

And notice in this moment which parts of yourself you honour.

Take a deep breath.

And notice in this moment which parts of yourself you resist.

Now take a deep breath.

And notice in this moment which parts of yourself you celebrate.

Take a deep breath.

And notice in this moment which parts of yourself you ignore.

There is nothing you need to do to allow yourself to be.

Take a deep breath.

You are now going to use one of your most powerful tools,

Your voice.

If you are in a space where sound is not welcome,

You can use your inner voice instead.

Now say to yourself,

I accept all parts of who I am.

Again,

I accept all parts of who I am.

And say it once more,

I accept all parts of who I am.

How does that feel?

What happens in your body when you say that?

What happens in your body when you hear yourself saying that?

Whatever comes up,

Whatever you feel,

Whatever thoughts arise,

You are okay.

Now take a deep breath and say to yourself,

I allow myself to be.

Say it again,

I allow myself to be.

And once more,

I allow myself to be.

How does that feel?

What happens in your body when you say that?

What happens in your body when you hear yourself saying it?

Whatever comes up,

Whatever you feel,

Whatever thoughts arise,

You are okay.

There is nothing you need to do to be allowed to be.

Now take a deep breath and exhale any tension that you feel in your body.

Do it again,

Inhale and exhale while letting go of tension.

And once more,

Inhale,

Exhale.

You have arrived,

Welcome.

Now open your eyes with kindness.

Now open your eyes with kindness.
