Good morning friends.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Let's welcome this new day with gratitude.
And thanks.
Another day to live.
So whatever position you are in,
Just settle there.
Sitting,
Lying down on your couch,
Floor,
Bed,
Outside or inside or in your car.
Just be there and settle.
Let's spend just a few moments with gratitude as we begin this day.
Join me as I am outside.
I'm in my backyard,
Sitting by the pond.
The fish in there swimming all around.
Nature's noises filling up my space.
They too are enjoying this new day.
So as we settle,
Let's go ahead and inhale nice and deeply through our nose.
Exhaling all the way out with our mouth open through the ends of our feet.
Let's do this again.
Inhale deeply.
Exhaling all the way out through our mouth and to the ends of our feet.
And just let your breath become natural now.
Whatever feels comfortable,
Whatever is natural.
As we take in all the sounds that are around us,
Just let them kind of float in your mind.
Just let them kind of float in your space,
Silently observing how thankful we are that we can hear these beautiful sounds.
Life is happening all around us.
You may even hear some trucks in the distance where I am.
People are out and about living this new day.
So much opportunity lies ahead with each new day.
This new day with so many opportunities and choices,
Decisions,
Movement,
Stillness,
Conversations,
Work,
Play,
Travel.
Whatever the day may hold for you is beautiful and just right.
May the food that you eat today nourish your body and your mind and your soul.
May your conversations light you up,
Give you strength and energy.
May your thoughts give you courage.
May this day be everything that you want it to be.
Let's come back to our breath for a few moments,
Breathing deeply in and breathing out.
In and out.
And just whenever you are ready,
Bring your awareness back to your space and your body.
Wiggle around or stretch a little bit.
And enjoy your day.
