It is a good idea to face up to how we are feeling. Taking the time to bring difficult moments into focus and then to open your heart out to others is a very useful way of teaching the mind to be able to relax in tough times.

Compassionate Moment Exercise Sitting comfortably,

Feet on the floor and bringing awareness to the current situation at hand.

Noticing how you are right now and allowing yourself to get a true sense of what is happening in this moment.

A gentle focus onto the breathing while you say to yourself this is a moment of difficulty right now.

And so we're just sitting and letting any and all sensations just be there.

And again,

And again saying to yourself there are other people in the world suffering just like me right now.

And we just sit and allowing any and all sensations to be here and we're being curious as to how we are.

And then saying to ourselves once again how may I be kind to myself in this moment?

Just sitting back in your mind,

No searching just sitting and noticing a response.

How may I be kind to myself in this moment?
