Welcome to this meditation to calm center and ground you as you prepare to let go of anything that is not serving you today.
This could be any thoughts,
Worries,
Tension,
Stress,
Or anxious feelings that you would like just a little space from or perhaps to release any heaviness that you have been carrying with you to bring some stillness and peace to your day.
So let's get started I will be your guide and together we will take a journey to a sacred place that will calm and soften body mind and spirit and will provide us with the perfect space and energy to truly let go.
Allow yourself to settle here now in either a seated position with your spine supported or maybe in shavasana.
Get comfortable here and when you are ready close your eyes.
Soften the area around your eyes now and release any tension in your face and jaw.
Imagine that your eyebrows are gently moving away from one another so the space created here at your third eye softens all the little muscles around your eyes and a spaciousness can be felt all around this area.
Breathe in and out steadily and without force.
Just allow yourself to find the space here to let go.
Let go of any tension that may still linger now in your jaw and cheekbones.
Feel the softness in your face that letting go here can bring.
Now release your shoulders any amount that your spine settle against your support.
Upper back middle back.
Lower back.
Let your abdomen become soft.
There's no tension here and release any tightness in your legs.
Let them go.
Everything is heavy and completely relaxed.
You are fully held here in this safe space.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Notice how the cool air enters your body through the nose on the inhalation and slowly leaves your body warm and soft through the nose on the exhalation.
Inhale soft gently.
Exhale slow steady.
Your breath is the gateway to stillness.
Now begin to see in your mind's eye a beautiful gentle stream flowing softly through a forest of tall strong and majestic pine trees.
The water is crystal clear and it shimmers in the sun reflecting through the trees.
This place feels magical and you soon feel like this water this forest this entire place is a sacred site filled with mystery and healing.
You gaze at its beauty and feel the vibration of magical energy here.
The air is still and pleasantly warm and as you breathe in and out you feel your lungs expanding with the invigorating energy of this exquisite place.
You take off your shoes beside the stream and feel the lush mossy earth of the forest floor.
It feels wonderful beneath your bare feet and you walk for a little while feeling the soft carpet beneath your toes as you gaze upwards towards the tops of the towering trees above you.
You begin to release all tension worries and frustrations now as this magical energy seems to be almost vibrating from the earth here and it calms and grounds you.
In this feeling of gentle calm you are now compelled to walk towards the stream almost pulled towards it by a force that wants you to continue to let go of anything which no longer serves you.
At first you wonder if you should resist the stream is beautiful its crystal water tumbles gently over smooth glossy rocks and the sound is so tempting a sound of pure natural beauty.
The sound of healing water flowing through this magical sacred place you can't resist you know that in order to move forward in your life you must let go of some things that are not allowing you to live your life to the fullest.
Some things that are weighing you down and the sacred stream invites you to let them go.
You realize that you have come here to this place to release fears worries frustrations and anything that is holding you back.
You can't leave without allowing the stream to unburden you.
So you walk towards the water its sound enchanting you and you sit carefully on a large stone right beside the running water.
You know what to do.
You just feel the energy of this healing place and you know.
You look down and beside the rock are many beautiful colorful autumn leaves.
They are rich golds reds and vibrant oranges and they lie on the forest floor like a carpet of jewels.
You take a large golden leaf in your hand and a golden pen appears.
You write on the leaf something that has been on your mind for a long long time.
Something that has brought you much stress anxiety and difficult thoughts to manage.
You write it clearly on the leaf and then you reach towards the water.
You set the leaf upon the surface.
It floats gently for a moment and then the current takes it.
The leaf and your golden writing your worrying and stressful situation are moving over the rocks over the pebbles.
And you watch as the leaf floats effortlessly further and further downstream until you can no longer see it.
You breathe and observe and this stressful situation floats away.
It has moved on and has left you with space in your mind and body to simply breathe and take in the beauty of your surroundings.
The sacred water will take this weight that has burned it new and it will keep it safely downstream while you take some time away from it.
You have released it for now and it is in the hands of nature.
Now you reach down for a second leaf.
This one is vibrant red in color and is a little smaller.
You take your golden pen and write upon the leaf.
This is a worry that just niggles at you a frustration that keeps appearing in your life that causes you to feel tense uncertain or just uneasy and frustrated.
It glides easily onto the red leaf from your pen.
Then you lightly set it upon the flowing water.
It pops along on the current and glides smoothly away.
You watch it flutter a little on the breeze and then it is gone from your view.
The sacred stream has removed this uncertainty and the tension you felt melts away.
As you know now that releasing your thoughts and worries to the water is safe and you are free to distance yourself for now.
You take a long deep breath and you feel lighter and more at ease than you have in a long time.
You look down at the leaf still at your feet and a small dainty orange one calls your attention.
You take it from the earth and feel called to write a small minor situation that has been ongoing but you know it really just is a little misunderstanding.
Something that you haven't dealt with but you know that you should.
Now you have the stream here and it is inviting you to release and let go.
You decide to write this smaller situation on your small orange leaf.
Just writing it down releases some stress you have been carrying regarding this situation.
You reach forward and lightly cast the leaf upon the water.
Its small shape gently and swiftly is taken by the current.
And in just a few seconds it is out of sight.
Downstream and held by the crystal water taken to a place that will hold it safely.
While you step back reflect and have space from your thoughts surrounding this.
You take a long deep inhalation and draw in the beautiful energy of this glassy shimmering water that is holding your thoughts,
Fears,
Frustrations and worries.
You feel so at peace from this release and you sit for a short time now in this lightness.
This place is like a sanctuary and you feel so grateful that you were able to find it.
When you are ready to leave safe in the knowledge that this water will take care of the things you released here today.
You place your feet back on the mossy ground and prepare to return home.
You know that you can return here at any time and that this sacred place will always allow you to release your worries and fears here.
Its healing energy is limitless.
You may stay here for as long as you wish.
There is no time limit to this healing space.
Just breathe and feel your body in contact with the grounding energy of the earth.
Noticing the lightness that comes from releasing what no longer serves you.
When you are ready,
Gently move your body a little and prepare to return to the room.
Stretch a little if this feels good and take a lovely long inhalation.
Followed by a long smooth exhalation.
Gently open your eyes and take this lightness with you as you move back into your day.
Thank you for allowing me to guide you to this sacred healing space today.
Namaste.
