Do this meditation together with your partner before having sex. Be guided to relax and let go of tension in your bodies, make eye contact with each other, feel each other's chests where your hearts live. Continue into sex if that feels right. This meditation is simply a quick instruction to help you and your partner begin an experience of mindful and intimate sex.

Hi,

I'm Jessica Graham and this is a guided meditation for increasing sexual intimacy.

This meditation is for you and your partner to do together before having sex.

Start on your bed or any other comfortable place.

You can be fully clothed,

Partially clothed,

Or naked.

Sit across from each other.

And if you need to let out some giggles,

Go ahead.

Mindful sex doesn't have to be serious.

It can be fun and even funny.

Okay.

Now close your eyes and relax.

Really relax.

Let go of the tension in your eyes,

Jaw,

Shoulders,

And stomach.

Relax and let go.

Now bring your attention to your pelvic area.

Begin to relax the genitals.

Relax and let go.

Now move your attention to the area around your heart.

Place one hand over your heart.

Feel the warmth of your hand.

Breathe as you allow your heart to open and soften.

Imagine that your heart is warm and open,

Ready to give and receive love.

Now remove your hand and open your eyes.

Look into your partner's eyes.

Whatever feelings arise,

Allow them.

Blink whenever you need to,

But always come back to your partner's eyes.

You may wish to choose just one eye to focus on.

Let everything else fall away as you gaze deeply into your partner's beautiful eyes.

As you continue to make eye contact,

Bring some attention to relaxing your body.

Inviting anything that's tightened up to soften.

As you relax,

Your partner is relaxing,

Too.

You are relaxing together.

Still connected to your partner,

Begin to breathe together,

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

Inhale,

Exhale.

Continuing to make eye contact,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Now continue to look into each other's eyes and breathe together.

Place your hand on your partner's heart.

Feel their heart as they open and close.

Feel your heart as they feel yours.

Relax,

Breathe,

And connect.

If you aren't already,

Begin to focus on the pleasure in your body.

Feel the waves of pleasure and possibly desire move through you.

Allow that pleasure and desire to radiate from your heart to your partner's hand,

And from your hand to your partner's heart.

Relax,

Breathe,

And connect.

As we come to the close of this meditation,

You can continue the meditation into sex.

Begin to kiss and explore each other's bodies while relaxing,

Breathing,

And connecting.

Take it slow and enjoy every moment.

The more present you are with yourself and your partner,

The more pleasure and intimacy you will experience.
