This meditation practice is to ground you when you aren't sure where you are supposed to be right now. One day, I recorded this because I really needed to hear this myself and hope that it brings someone else some much-needed peace as the thoughts did for me that day.

Today,

We'll begin in a seated position.

Or if there's another position that is more comfortable for you,

Such as lying down,

Please get yourself comfortable.

You know what your body and mind needs today more than I do.

Take a deep breath in and let it all go.

And as you let it go,

Imagine how all of the tension and anxiety that you're feeling about being pulled in different directions,

Just feel it all come together.

Continue to take deep breaths in and out,

Preferably through your nose.

You are the expert on you.

If breathing in and out through your nose is not comfortable today,

Certainly you can do whatever is best.

You are exactly where you need to be and exactly when you need to be there.

You can be present in this moment to recenter,

Regroup before moving forward.

There are always to-dos.

Laundry,

Bills to pay,

Dishes.

Those will always be there.

There is a perpetual to-do list.

You are capable and you are exactly where you need to be.

You are already here as life takes you on its journey.

Take a few more deep breaths,

Just being in this moment.

While we have that perpetual to-do list,

Right now,

Just focus on your breath.

In and out.

You are exactly where and when you need to be there.

Take a deep breath.

Relax.

Trust yourself.

And move where you need to be today.

You are exactly where you need to be.
