Find a way to get comfortable,
Whether you're sitting or laying down,
And focus on your breath.
You do not need to control your breath.
Just focus on it.
Imagine that you're at school and you notice one of your fellow students.
Maybe it's a new student.
Maybe they've been going to school with you for years.
They're standing all alone watching everyone play.
You notice that they're looking down at the ground.
Think about what it's like to be new at a school or to feel left out.
School can be hard with so many different types of personalities.
You begin to think about how they might be feeling.
Maybe they're nervous.
Maybe lonely.
Maybe they're worried people won't like them.
You walk up,
Smile,
And say hi.
They smile and look relieved.
You invite them to join you,
And they smile again.
Think and notice how do you feel about yourself inviting them?
How does your body feel?
Do you feel different?
Being kind connects you to other people.
Being kind helps you and helps others.
When you're ready,
You can open your eyes and turn your attention to the room.
