Life is always shifting,

Evolving,

Unfolding.

Change is our constant.

It is the silent current beneath all things,

Shaping life's contours like a river carving through stone.

Sometimes it flows gently,

A quiet ripple that barely disturbs the surface.

Other times it crashes in like a tidal wave,

Uprooting everything in its path.

Whether slow or sudden,

Subtle or overwhelming,

Change is not our enemy.

It is not our master.

It is simply the nature of life.

It is the inhale and exhale of existence,

The rhythm of growth,

The turning of the seasons within and around us.

Change is our sculptor.

Each new beginning,

Each ending,

Chisels away at who we were,

Revealing who we are.

It can be uncomfortable.

We may resist fearing the loss of what's familiar,

What once was,

The uncertainty that lies ahead.

But what if the breaking down is how we find what's unshakable within us?

What if the dismantling is simply life making room for our growth?

What if change is not a thief,

But an artist,

Refining,

Reshaping,

Revealing something more aligned,

More whole,

More true?

Change can feel like standing at the edge of an unfamiliar road,

Uncertain of where it leads.

The mind clings to the known,

Even when the known no longer serves us.

How do you view change?

Do you welcome it as an adventure,

A chance to grow?

Or does it stir discomfort,

Fear,

Fear of losing control?

No matter the path of change,

There is something within you that remains steady,

Your immovable center.

Like a ship anchored in deep waters,

The wind blows,

The waves rise.

But when your foundation is strong,

You rise and fall with the tide,

You remain grounded.

This inner stillness comes from knowing who you are,

Your values,

Your strengths,

Your hard-earned wisdom.

Let's take a moment to return to the center,

To come home to it.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.

Feel your body supported by the ground beneath you,

The earth holding you steady and unchanging.

I want you to imagine you are standing in the middle of a river.

Feel its wet coolness on your skin.

The water moves steadily all around you,

Sometimes gently,

Sometimes swiftly.

This river is change.

Change is all it knows.

Its current is the movement of life.

Notice your breath as it rises and falls like the flow of water.

Exhale.

Feel the river's strength and feel your strength.

You are not swept away.

You are grounded.

You are safe.

Now bring your awareness inward to your immovable center This is the place within you that stays steady even when everything around you shifts.

It is your deep knowing,

Your calm,

Your resilience.

It does not resist the river.

It coexists with it,

Steady,

Anchored,

Aware.

In this moment,

Remind yourself gently,

I am safe.

I can move with change.

Let those words echo softly within you.

With your breath,

Inhale,

I am safe.

Exhale,

I am rooted.

Inhale,

I can move with change.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the space around you.

Take one more deep breath in and let it go.

Open your eyes slowly Come back to this knowing whenever you feel unsteady and know there is always a place within you untouched by the chaos.

Quiet.

Change does not ask us to be fearless.

It asks us to be present,

To trust that even in uncertainty,

We have what we need and to remember always that the same force that brings the change also brings the renewal.

You are not here to control the river.

You are here to learn to move with it.

Anchored.

Open.
