Hello I'm Jessie Galvin.

Welcome to this inner child meditation.

Take a few moments to get comfortable either sitting or lying down.

When you're ready close down your eyes.

Take a few deep and slow breaths allowing each breath to ground you into this now present moment.

Gently relax your shoulders,

Feel your pelvis and sitting bones getting heavy as you relax your body.

Take a moment to become aware of all of the parts of your body that make contact with the chair or the floor beneath you.

Notice this subtle sensation of feeling held here.

Your entire body supported as you rest and allow yourself to fully arrive into this moment now.

As you settle into a state of openness and relaxation,

I invite you to bring your awareness to your breath.

Inhale through your nose feeling your belly,

Ribs and chest expand and exhale slowly but naturally through your mouth releasing tension from your body.

Take a few slow and clearing breaths like this allowing any stagnant energy from your day to be released as you exhale.

Allow your breath to drop back to its natural rhythm and flow.

Tune in to this breath as it flows naturally in and out of your body.

Notice the gentle sense of softening as you allow your breath to take your full attention just for a moment or two.

The body starts to relax and any noise in the background gets further and further away.

You imagine yourself in a beautiful place,

Somewhere serene and safe.

This may be a meadow,

A forest,

A beach,

The comfort of a room in your home or anywhere that you can visualize that feels safe and nurturing.

Take a few moments to look around this place.

Notice what you can see,

Smell,

Hear,

Taste and touch as you feel yourself within your energetic body settling into this safe and beautiful space within your mind's eye.

As you take a few moments to get comfortable here we call into awareness your team in spirit of the highest light and resonance to come and be with us now,

To assist us through time and space.

This journey with your inner child knowing that your spirit guides your higher self and all those that walk alongside you,

Serving the path of the heart,

Supporting your highest expansion are with you right now.

As you take this journey feel their presence with you in this beautiful safe place that you find yourself.

Just take a few deep breaths here absorbing the energies around you,

The energy emanating from within you.

You now look a few steps in front of you and see a small child standing there.

This is your inner child,

A representation of your younger self.

Take a moment to observe this child,

Notice their age,

Their clothing and the expression on their face in this now moment.

If it feels right to do so take a step towards your inner child with love and compassion.

Gently extend your arms inviting them to come closer as they step into your embrace.

Feel a sense of warmth and connection.

You are here to nurture and protect this precious part of yourself.

Begin to speak to your inner child.

Hello little one,

I am here for you.

I love you just the way you are.

You are safe and you are not alone.

Together we will explore and heal.

Hold your inner child in your arms allowing them to feel your love and your support in this moment.

Sense the vulnerability and the innocence this part of you.

Notice if your inner child is experiencing any emotion.

Allow your inner child space to feel how they feel,

Affirming that you love them exactly as they are.

As you spend this time connecting with your inner child,

Imagine a protective bubble of light made of love surrounding both of you.

This light is a shield of love,

Compassion and safety.

Feel it now enveloping you both,

Creating a sacred container for healing.

As you continue to hold your inner child now,

Ask them if there is anything they'd like to share with you.

Listen with an open heart and without judgment.

You may hear words,

See images or feel emotions.

Whatever arises invite you to offer it love.

Now express words of comfort and reassurance to your inner child.

Your feelings matter,

You are seen,

You are heard,

I see you and I hear you.

I value everything you have shared with me and I am here to protect and care for you.

You are safe,

I love you.

As you speak these words,

Notice if a heaviness or sadness lifts from your inner child.

Through your connection you sense their spirit becoming lighter and more joyful.

As you notice the energy shifting within your inner child,

You can invite the inner child to play and explore in this safe space.

In your mind's eye you see both of you playing,

Doing activities that bring joy and laughter to you both.

You visualize things that you used to love doing when you were a young child,

Maybe playing with toys,

Dancing,

Singing or enjoying time in nature together.

Take a few moments to immerse yourself in this playful and nurturing interaction with your inner child.

As we prepare to close this meditation you may turn to your inner child and hold them in whatever way feels good for you in this moment.

You explain to them that you are always with them and that together you can return to this space whenever they need your love and support.

Express your gratitude to your inner child for guiding this part of your healing journey,

For making themselves known to you and for allowing you to connect with them in this way.

You ask them if there are any words that they would like you to remind them of,

An affirmation or a mantra that may be supportive through your day-to-day life.

You thank your inner child and gently take a few steps out of this precious safe place,

Taking one last look at your inner child,

Playing,

Exploring their innocence.

When you're ready slowly bring your awareness back to your breath and take a few deep and slow breaths here.

We send gratitude to your higher self,

Spirit guides and inner child for guiding us through this energetic experience of healing and integration.

Take one more full breath in through your nose and sigh it out through your mouth and very slowly open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me for this inner child journey.

May you carry this love and healing energy with you throughout your day.
