Hello,
This is Jessie Galvin and welcome to today's stress and anxiety release.
So start by closing your eyes.
I'm going to take a deep breath in through the nose.
And exhale through the mouth.
Take a moment to move your body in any way that feels good.
So you can move into the shoulders.
Maybe circle the neck a few times,
Stretch into the face.
And we'll take another deep breath in through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
And again,
But this time as you breathe in,
Let the shoulders rise up to the ears.
Inhale.
As you exhale,
Let the shoulders drop away.
And place your hands over your heart in the centre of your chest.
Take a few breaths into this area of the body.
Releasing with the exhale.
Any tension,
Any anxiety,
Anything that is holding you in this moment.
Gently press the hands into the centre of the chest.
We take one more breath in through the nose.
As you exhale,
Let the hands drop away.
Feel an openness around this area,
Opening the heart.
Surrendering to the present moment.
And knowing that you are always held,
There is always this place of peace to come back to,
Connecting to the breath.
We take another deep breath in through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Let's rest here for a few moments in this state of relaxation.
