Hello,
I'm Jessie Galvin.
Welcome to this guided meditation for grounding and stability.
Take a moment to find a comfortable seated position with your feet flat on the floor and your hands resting gently in your lap.
Take a few moments to adjust your posture ensuring that your spine is straight but relaxed.
If it feels okay to do so,
Gently close your eyes and take a few deep breaths in through your nose,
Exhaling slowly through your mouth.
Welcome a gentle sense of expansion with each inhale and a subtle softening with each exhale.
Now bring your awareness to the sensations in your body.
Feel the weight of your body against the chair or cushion beneath you.
Notice the points of contact between your feet and the floor.
Feel your hands resting gently in your lap and the subtle movement of your belly,
Your ribs and your chest as your breath flows naturally in and out of your body.
With every breath imagine roots growing down from the soles of your feet extending deep into the earth below you.
Feel these roots anchoring you firmly into the ground.
Connecting with the energy of Mother Earth,
The network of our beautiful planet.
As you tune into this interconnected sense within yourself and invite the stability and support of Mother Earth to be here with you now.
As you continue to breathe visualize a warm golden light flowing up from the earth traveling through the roots and into your body.
Feel this healing energy spreading throughout your entire being filling you with a sense of calm and centeredness.
As you become one with this healing energy as you become one with this healing energy notice your energy field expanding out around you.

Now bring your attention to the present moment.
Notice any sounds in your environment.
The distant chirping of birds.
The rustling of leaves or traffic.
A plane in the sky.
Or other humans moving about their day.
With each breath,
Feel yourself becoming more rooted in this present moment now.
More connected to the earth beneath you and the world around you.
Allow yourself to tune in to everything you experience in this now present moment.
Without making it right or wrong.
Good or bad.
But just allowing it to be here.
And to be part of your present moment experience.
Take a moment to express gratitude for the grounding and connection you feel in this moment.
Know that you can return to this practice whenever you need to feel centered,
Balanced and connected.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Bring your awareness back into the room.
Taking in your surroundings.
Staying with this inner sense of presence,
Grounding and connection.
Invite you to carry this sense with you as you move through your day.
Knowing that you are supported by the earth beneath you and the universe around you.
Namaste
