I'm Jared Wessler,
And this is my daily gratitude.
Give me about five minutes,
And I'll lead you through.
Gratitude is one of the most important practices we have,
But it's not always easy.
So that's why I'm leading us through.
So before we go,
Let's start with a big cleansing breath.
So big,
Deep breath,
Deepest breath of the day so far.
Hold it at the top for a second,
And then let it out.
Doesn't that feel better?
And as the music comes around,

Gratitude is not always easy.
Life gets in the way,
We get busy.
We get rushed and hurried,
And we stop paying attention.
And then a little something happens that we don't like.
Somebody cuts us off in traffic.
A stranger isn't as polite as we would like.
And we get thrown into these spirals.
That's okay.
But then I also invite you when those things happen to just take a moment.
Take a breath and realize that there is something beautiful in every moment.
Whether it is just that breath and how it makes you feel.
Whether it's the hot day,
The rainy day,
The cold day around you.
There's something beautiful to appreciate and sing.

And when we get busy and we forget that there's so much in this world to be grateful for.
All it takes is a moment of slowing down and remembering.
That's why I like breath.
And I take big breaths before we do this.

When you get busy and you get out of the moment and you can't find your gratitude.
Just stop and take a big deep breath and maybe sing.
