Hello,
I'm Jared Wessler,
And this is my daily gratitude.
Give me about five minutes,
And I'll lead you through.
Gratitude is one of the most important practices we have,
And not always the easiest.
So that's why I'm going to be leading us through a little gratitude meditation for at least the next month.
So before we get going,
Let's take a big,
Deep,
Cleansing breath together.
Biggest breath of the day so far,
Okay?
Big breath.
And I'll hold it at the top for a moment,
And then let it out.
There it is.
And as the music comes around,
Let's sing our chorus.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
And again.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
One of the biggest lessons in life and gratitude I ever got was from my grandfather Chick.
He thought everything was the best ever.
I thought it was silly at times growing up,
How every meal was the best ever,
Every glass of wine was the best ever,
Every time we got together was the best ever.
But the older I get,
The more I realize the real power in that.
It was beyond gratitude.
It was complete savoring and joy of every moment,
And understanding that now,
The present time is what we have,
And it,
It is the best ever.
And I'm so thankful for that lesson today.
So as the music comes back around,
Let's sing the best chorus ever.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
That really was the best chorus ever.
I want to bring that energy into my life and I want to share it with you.
What's going on today that you could claim is the best ever?
Is this the best ever traffic you've ever been stuck in?
Is this the best meal you've ever had?
Is this the best cup of coffee,
Breath of air?
And together we will sing.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
For what we've come to do.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for being here and joining me in some gratitude.
