I'm Jenny Mayo.
Welcome to this meditation for reconnecting with a gold within us.
Let's find a comfortable position for our bodies,
Seated or lying down,
And close the eyes if you like.
Just taking a few moments to really let your body land using the next few breaths to start to soften your body and start to let yourself unhook from whatever came before this session,
Maybe whatever is coming up.
It's carving out this space just for you.
So to help facilitate some of that release,
Let's take two deep clearing breaths together.
Exhale to prepare.
Long,
Slow inhale through the nose.
Sighing through the mouth,
Releasing what you're ready to let go of.
And again,
In through the nose Exhale,
Let something go.
Return to our natural breath.
Just watching a few rounds in and out.
Allowing your breath to swirl,
Making a little more space in your torso.
Just let it soften you from the inside.
Relax your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your belly.
Let your limbs feel heavy.
Start to draw your attention to your core or center,
Wherever you are.
Wherever that is for you in your body.
Let's take a few gentle breaths in here.
Starting to reconnect with the gold,
The glimmer here.
Maybe it's faint at first,
Just a tiny little spark or ember or gleam.
This represents the most you parts of you.
The most authentic,
Bright version of you.
The you full of peace,
Full of joy.
Just picturing your breath really cradling this ember.
Noticing whether you experience it as light or heat,
Maybe just a soft warmth.
As you continue to softly welcome your breath in and out,
Letting that breath start to stoke the fire of that ember.
Letting that warmth,
The gleam start to spread throughout your torso.
Let it spill up through your heart center,
Your upper chest.
Your bright light swirling down your arms,
Up through the crown of your head.
Feel it as it begins to fill your whole pelvis,
Spilling down your legs,
Gleaming its warm light all the way down into your feet.
Letting your body soften as your breath continues to spread.
Your light illuminating you from within.
This feeling of warmth and light present.
Asking yourself now,
Who am I when I am my brightest,
Most golden self?
Noticing what images come to mind,
What feelings arise.
Notice what this version of you is doing.
Who am I when I am my brightest,
Most golden self?
Asking yourself now,
So gently,
What is one small,
Totally doable step I could take to keep connecting with my inner gold or shine a little brighter?
Now picture yourself already having done that.
This gleam is always here,
Just might be buried under more layers of life or stress.
And sometimes all it takes is a few minutes of quiet reflection to remember that it's here and to shine it back up.
Let's take our last few breaths together here,
Breathing into your heart center.
To that golden center,
Your golden self.
Deepest,
Fullest breath of the day now,
All the way down to your toes.
Exhale,
Gently release.
Start to wiggle fingers and toes when you're ready.
Maybe roll ahead,
Gently left,
Right,
And stretch the arms overhead.
Roll out the shoulders,
Whatever might feel good as you gently open your eyes.
