Good morning and welcome to this morning meditation Intended to help you get your day started off on the right foot and with intention May eat a find a comfortable position for your body And if it feels good Maybe closing the eyes well Just begin by checking in with our breath Feeling where it is today how it is today?
Giving our body a quick scan Feeling how our body is this morning Noticing what we notice Maybe even giving our thoughts a quick scan Where are we today?
Observing Beginning now to deepen the breath.
Maybe even putting your hands on your low belly Like feeling your hands Welcoming each breath in deeper and deeper this breath Awakening your cells a little bit more with each inhale Maybe even imagining each breath carrying millions of particles of sunlight into your body and Allowing them to expand and spread their light throughout every cell of your body bringing light awakening bringing vibrancy From your head to your toes Continuing for a few more breaths to really breathe deeply into the belly into your whole body Welcoming in breath light and Sun and awakening with this feeling of awakening Beginning to awaken some of the feelings that we wish to connect with that we wish to carry with us throughout the day remembering that How we start the day and what we conjure now can have a huge impact on how the day unfolds And how we feel As we walk through the day beginning by cultivating a bit of gratitude this reminder of abundance in our lives But there are so many things around us even tiny things for which we can be grateful And that can help us connect to joy So calling one of them to mind now,
What is one thing today for which you are grateful Maybe it's small like your cup of coffee Or it could be something very big Like conjuring up in your mind's eye your mind's senses all of the sensory details Of this person place thing action,
Whatever it is Feeling with all of your senses this thing Feeling with all of your feelingness your gratitude for it Breathing into that Maybe asking yourself Why am I grateful for this?
Calling to mind now another one to two things for which you're grateful today And again,
Allowing all of their sensory details to come into your mind now Feeling as if it is before you at this exact moment Breathing into your gratitude for this Again,
Maybe asking yourself why you're grateful for this Breathing in more gratitude on these next few breaths and with this as our foundation Asking yourself now How would I like to feel today?
What's the best I could feel today Begin feeling it What does it look like?
What does it feel like to feel that way right now in this moment?
Can you breathe this in?
With your breath You might even imagine yourself walking through your day One hour at a time Still with this feeling burning brightly inside of you.
What does that feel like look like?
What would it feel like to walk through your day?
With more ease more peace more joy More of whatever feeling you would like to feel most Allowing yourself to breathe deeply into these feelings Trying to feel it with all of your cells Taking our last few breaths into this into this possibility to this potential Coming back to this moment right here right now Whatever space you're in the beginning of the day Feeling yourselves full of light Awakened Grateful Beaming with the feeling that you've conjured up now gently Bringing some movement into your fingers and toes Making one last deep deep breath your deepest breath of the morning Gently releasing it Opening the eyes if they're closed Thank you for meditating with me today,
