We don't have to sit around waiting for joy to come to us; there are many ways we can actively call more of it in, particularly meditation. Through this guided visualization practice, we'll reconnect to the joy that's already inside us, heighten our awareness of small joys around us, and envision and feel our most joyful selves. You might work with this meditation anytime you need a little joyful boost, or you could use it daily for a longer period (for instance, a week) to help strengthen the joyful pathways in your brain and increase the impact.
