There are four steps to creating your bubble of peace.

Settle your body,

Settle your mind,

Invite relaxation,

And let relaxation spread.

And the more you practice these four steps,

The more readily you'll be able to drop into this state of relaxation and peace and carry it with you throughout your day into challenging or difficult circumstances.

So come back often to practice creating your bubble of peace.

To get started today,

Find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

And take your time to allow your body to settle.

Adjust yourself so that you feel centered and symmetrical.

Allow your arms to relax by your sides or rest on your belly or chest or thighs.

See how much you can let go.

If you feel the need to move,

Adjust,

Or scratch an itch,

Allow yourself to do that,

And then return to stillness.

Settle.

As many times as you need to do this,

That's just fine.

Adjust,

Recenter,

And settle.

Once your body feels settled and relatively still,

Allow your mind to settle.

Just as you took time to adjust your body,

If there are any thoughts you feel you need to engage with right now,

Allow yourself to do so,

And then put them away.

Your thoughts make up the landscape of your mind,

And they will always be present.

As if they are clouds drifting through the sky,

You can notice them without engaging them.

Consciously choose to allow your mind to settle.

Allow the thoughts to swirl around you and glide past you and find stillness within.

With your body and your mind settled,

Invite relaxation in,

And there is nothing that you have to do to create this relaxation.

Simply invite relaxation in to your body.

Be open to the idea of relaxing body and mind 100%.

What would it feel like to be completely relaxed?

How would that feel in your face,

In your shoulders,

Your hands?

How would relaxation feel in your chest and your belly?

Invite relaxation into your pelvis,

Down the length of your legs,

And into your feet.

Allow the sensation of relaxation to spread from your head to your toes,

From the front of your body to the back of your body,

From your right side to your left side.

Allow this sense of relaxation to spread and grow even beyond the confines of your body,

So that a feeling of peace and relaxation hovers all around you,

Creating a bubble of protection.

This bubble of peace around your body serves to inoculate you against the stressors of your life.

It creates protection from people and things around you that might steal your peace.

It creates a safe harbor for you to retreat to when life feels overwhelming,

And your bubble of peace serves as a reminder to treat all those around you with love and compassion.

Remember that there is nothing you have to do to create relaxation and peace.

Simply invite it to come into your body,

To spread from limb to limb,

From head to toe,

100% relaxed.

Whatever feelings or imagery are associated with your bubble of peace,

Capture them now.

Hold on to this feeling.

Memorize what it feels like in your body and your mind.

The more often you practice creating your bubble of peace,

The more easily you'll be able to slip into this state of relaxation.

And when you are ready to move on with your day,

Take three deep breaths,

Allowing the sense of relaxation and peace to soak deeply into your bones to become a part of you.

I wish you a peaceful and beautiful day.

Namaste.
