Tuning In To Your Body Barometer - Dissecting The Wisdom Of Shaltazar
In this episode, Jeffrey and Mark postulate that our bodies are energetic barometers and shifts in vibration caused by external forces like the full moon or autumnal equinox can impact our physical and mental homeostasis during certain times of year or phases of the lunar cycle. Rather than fight those sensations or blame ourselves for not being at the top of our games, Jeffrey encourages us to pay attention to our feelings thus tapping into the truth and wisdom our bodies are bringing us.

And welcome back to another episode of Dissecting the Wisdom of Shaltazar with my good friend and collaborator,
Mark Lane.
Welcome back,
Mark.
Hi,
Jeffrey.
Good to be here,
As always.
Yes,
It is indeed.
And we are recording this on a full moon and a new month,
And we're certainly into the autumn season.
And I look forward to hearing your topic of the day and what we're going to be discussing.
Yeah,
Well,
It actually ties right into the full moon and the change of seasons.
I guess the subject I want to talk about is energy and vibration as it kind of relates to some of these external phenomenon that are going on around us and how it impacts us and how it makes us feel.
This time of year is kind of special to me.
Fall is,
I guess,
My favorite season.
I like the weather.
I like the temperature.
I like how everything looks and feels outside.
There's also,
Hard to describe it,
A heavy energy that kind of comes upon me maybe.
It's almost like I feel the life draining from the planet as soon as the autumnal equinox happens.
There's just like a reduction in the vibrancy of the energy I sense around me.
And combining that,
And you know more about astrological phenomenon than I do,
But I was outside last night and I looked up and I saw the big moon and it looked full or maybe almost full to me.
And I noticed I've been feeling what I would be,
I guess I'll use the scientific term wonky,
You know,
Between the equinox and the moon.
Just not feeling quite myself.
A little more short tempered.
There's like my sense of the kind of a coming piece of autumn mixed with the kind of an angry energy from the moon is making me feel really strange.
So I don't know if you have experiences like that or not.
Absolutely,
Absolutely.
Sounds like a fabulous topic.
My mind is whizzing around with thoughts and insights.
I understand exactly what you're talking about when it comes to autumn and fall because it's quite a paradox.
It's such a beautiful time of year,
But we can't help but think about what's coming.
And so I've often chastised myself because I love autumn but could never fully embrace it because I knew winter was coming behind it.
And so that could be some of that heavy energy because although the leaves are turning color and there's great beauty,
We know that they are dying off and that they are shedding their leaves and they're going to be going into a dormant stage.
So it's always been a very interesting time of year for me because,
And I think I'm getting a little better at it this year,
It was always the anticipation of what was coming after autumn that took away from the beauty and grace of autumn.
Autumn is also a very interesting season.
I have had Crohn's disease for a number of years.
And even the medical professionals will tell you that in the spring and in the autumn,
Gastrointestinal issues seem to flare up.
So we're definitely in a transition period that equinox,
The spring equinox,
The fall equinox,
Where you've got equal day and equal night.
And now we're moving more towards the darkness.
And that leads me into the excitement of your topic,
Energy.
Often people,
I don't think,
Realize that some of the things that are happening energetically are beyond our control.
So many people will blame themselves.
You feel wonky and it's like it's your fault.
Well,
What if it wasn't your fault?
What if it was the higher power tweaking things so that we could see how we choose to respond?
And I think that that's a real important lesson that I've learned in my life is often the shifts in energy are not my fault.
They're beyond my control.
And so what,
For me anyway,
What I try to focus on is how do I respond to it as opposed to denying it,
Blaming myself for it or resisting it?
Does any of that make sense?
Yeah,
Actually that explains my,
I guess,
My new reaction or my new way of responding to the energy.
At this time of year,
I would,
It's hard to describe,
It's almost like I feel like I'm getting sick.
I can feel my energy fluctuating in kind of the same way that you might feel like right before you catch a cold,
For example.
And I never get sick.
I never catch the cold.
I never,
You know,
Nothing ever happens.
I know it's not a viral thing.
And these days I can't imagine it's even possible to catch a common cold wearing masks and using hand sanitizer all the time.
But there is that feeling that it's a physical feeling that I'm experiencing.
And I used to,
I think the first place my mind would jump is,
Oh,
You're getting sick.
You know,
Start taking vitamins,
You know,
Put on a hat or whatever you're going to do to protect yourself from getting sick.
And,
You know,
Of course,
In taking all those measures to protect yourself from illness,
You're just attracting illness.
And some of them,
You know,
Probably not the best approach.
So,
You know,
This year I'm just kind of observing it thinking,
Hmm,
I really notice a fluctuation in my energy.
You know,
It's like Star Wars.
I feel disturbance in the force.
And I'm just kind of feeling it and experiencing it.
And like you said,
I sense that it's coming from outside my body.
I mean,
You know,
We each have our own energy vibrations and we create,
You know,
A reality based on the energy that we are expressing.
But this is more an inbound energy,
I think,
Not something that's coming from inside me as much as it's without and then affecting within.
Right.
And I agree with that.
I think,
First of all,
We certainly agree on the premise that often the energy shifts are outside of ourselves.
It could be in the moon cycles.
You ask any doctor and they will tell you on the full moons,
The emergency rooms tend to definitely have a different feel to them and the kind of cases that they get.
So this is a true phenomenon.
I believe it is the universe recalibrating or changing the calibration.
How we feel and how you describe that.
Was it a cold?
Was it a virus?
You're getting sick.
I think that's the body's homeostasis.
It's automatic way of adjusting to the change in energy.
Right.
And I think it's a lot more miraculous if we could learn from it,
If we could develop our own mental and emotional homeostasis,
We could ride the waves of the energy changes.
It's your mind that thinks you're getting sick.
I'm pretty sure this year by you just observing it,
You'll realize that you are able to get through it.
The body is feeling the shift in energy vibration and it is doing whatever it's doing to readjust to that new vibration.
And if we get out of our own way and stop worrying about it,
I think that the body's ability to surf the waves,
The body's homeostasis will get through it.
Many people will tell you and Shaltazar has said that your body is truth.
There's the people that do the pendulum thing,
The yes and no.
There's where you do muscle testing.
I don't know if you've ever experienced that,
But I have and it's phenomenal.
You ask a question,
You start with what's your name,
And if you lie,
Your arm goes weak,
And if you tell the truth,
It's strong.
And then you start asking other deeper questions that intellectually you may not have the answer to,
And you'll find that the body has the right answer.
Have you ever experienced that?
No,
I haven't.
I've never heard of that.
Well,
I highly encourage you and the listeners to check out muscle testing.
It is phenomenal.
And I've used it with some clients as well and their jaw drops.
So there is a truth,
There is a wisdom within the body,
And I think our body knows how to handle the change in energy.
If we could learn that wisdom and,
As I say,
Get out of our own way mentally and emotionally,
I think we would be able to get through some of the traumas that we have in life so much easier.
Yeah,
Yeah.
That makes total sense.
It's almost like we're antennas and we're receiving this energy all the time.
And maybe at this time of year,
It's like it changes from AM to FM or something,
And so it takes our body a little bit of time to adjust to the new signal.
And then we kind of,
You know,
Maybe it's designed to protect us from,
I mean,
You and I are both from northern climates,
And so we experience the seasons a little bit more harshly than perhaps somebody living in a warm climate.
And maybe that's the way of acclimating us to our environment for.
.
.
100%.
I think it's programmed into the system.
We have to understand that the great creator is an amazing engineer and has engineered this human body in such a way that it's awe-inspiring.
It's hard to believe.
Another shift,
You know,
We live in a part of the world that changes the clocks,
Right?
And we're going to be changing the clock.
They switch it around,
And I think it's a little bit later this year,
In the last few years.
But,
You know,
You ask parents,
And I'm sure you recall,
When kids were younger and they experienced that time change,
It really threw off their schedule.
Right,
Yeah.
I guess it's kind of akin to traveling just one time zone in either direction from where you live.
It takes you a while to figure out,
You know,
Everything just seems off.
You know,
You get up at the wrong time,
You want dinner at the wrong time,
You go to bed at the wrong time.
Now,
Whether it's earlier or later,
It just kind of throws a monkey wrench into your homeostasis,
As you call it.
Yes,
Yes.
Perfect example.
I've been fortunate enough to travel to some faraway places,
To New Zealand,
To Australia,
To places that have had big time differences.
They say that when you come back,
For every hour of time difference,
It takes one day to re-acclimatize yourself and to get back into flow.
So if I am somewhere where the time difference was 12 hours from where I live,
It will take me 12 days to re-acclimate back into a normal routine.
So think about what's happening now around the equinox we came off of in the Northern Hemisphere summer,
Where,
You know,
It was light up until nine,
You know,
After nine o'clock.
And I don't know what it's like in Chicago.
In Toronto,
It's probably around six thirty,
Seven o'clock now.
It's getting dark.
Right?
Right.
So think about the body that is used to having daylight for two hours longer.
And you see,
We're not understanding those nuances,
Because I think a lot of people are running on autopilot,
And we don't have that sense of observation and awareness that we could.
So I think you're onto something really interesting.
The body knows that we're moving through an energy shift and is adjusting accordingly because of its operating system.
But most of,
You know,
A lot of people are not self-aware enough to realize,
Well,
Of course,
That's going to affect my mental emotional as well.
Yeah,
It's all connected.
So it has to impact everything.
Yeah.
Well,
Let me ask you a question.
Do you feel the same on a beautiful,
Warm,
Sunny day as you do on a dull,
Rainy day?
Oh,
Absolutely not.
No.
Well,
Right.
Right.
And yet,
Okay,
You know,
For people who are working on a regular basis and have a routine,
They would expect their productivity to be the same on the dull,
Rainy day as the bright,
Sunny day.
Right.
Like ludicrous.
Doesn't make sense,
Does it?
Right.
No.
Yeah.
So I think you're onto something really interesting with this topic because Shultazar has taught me that energy vibration is everything.
And if you and I could figure out a way to invent an indicator or a tool,
Just like,
Like,
You know,
A thermometer that takes our temperature,
A blood pressure monitor,
A,
You know,
Those kind of monitors.
If you could design a vibration monitor,
I guarantee you our life would make so much more sense because all you have to do is measure your vibration and say,
Oh,
No wonder this isn't going as well or no wonder that's happening because you are getting a reading as to your vibration.
Yeah.
Like a,
Like a vibration or an energy barometer.
There it is.
You got the name.
We're going to design an energy barometer.
And so,
You know,
In the absence of that,
What I like to teach people is to tap into your own energy vibration,
Become aware of it.
And,
You know,
I think your strategy this year of watching your body respond to the changes and it may feel a little stuffy or it may feel a little achy or it may feel whatever it feels that we think might be sickness coming on and realizing that's just the body,
You know,
Readjusting itself to the changing environment.
The,
The energy is changing.
So follow that along.
If,
If we're on a cloudy,
Rainy day and we are able to tap into our energy monitor and realize that our vibration has gone down for argument's sake from 1000 to 500,
That's the day you want to meditate a little extra.
That's the day you want to eat a little different.
That's the day that you want to have a little space in between some of your activities.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's,
That's well,
And it's interesting you say that because that's kind of almost instinctively I think what I do when I started feeling this way,
Like this morning,
You know,
When I was feeling that way,
I,
You know,
Well,
First of all,
I let myself sleep an extra hour.
Usually I'm up at four thirty or five I got up at six today.
And instead of having you know,
You know,
A waffle or some something for breakfast I you know I made myself a smoothie with some,
You know,
Some healthy stuff in it and I'm kind of,
I'm not trying to push too hard in getting work done.
I'm kind of,
You know,
Just,
You know,
Trying to maintain kind of a level even pace and so conserving energy rather than expending more than I need to.
And so,
You know,
I think you're right I think instinctively,
Even though it is energy and even though it's it's energy from outside you that's impacting you.
I think you do have to notice it and use it as an opportunity or as a call to be a little more gentle with yourself and take a little more self care.
Right.
But the key word is you said it's instinctive,
But it's instinctive in you because you've done a lot of work on yourself.
You have continued to work on on evolving your awareness and your consciousness.
And that's why it's instinctive to you.
So many people out there are in their own way and they do not realize the nuances of these energy shifts and so they will feel they'll sleep in and then they'll start to chastise themselves and say I slept in and and they're totally unaware of how they're feeling.
Once again,
If if our mental emotional state was as in tuned as our physical state with homeostasis,
We would be able to navigate life so much easier because we'd be in tune to it.
One of my favorite messages is going to be coming out shortly that you you helped me with a title and a description for is Minding the Mind.
And the premise,
Of course,
Is self mastery is composed of number one self awareness and number two conscious choice.
And so as you become aware of your energy vibration,
It opens the door to making conscious choices based on your energy vibration.
Funny,
Funny you should say that I wrote these two sentences down from Minding the Mind this morning.
The first one is the energy you are putting out creates the life that you are living.
And the second one is to master your own destiny.
You must make more conscious choices more of the time.
Right.
And and although you use the word funny,
We both know it's not funny.
It's fascinating.
It's interesting because and we may talk about this in another episode,
When you start to understand your energy vibration,
When you tap in to how you are vibrating,
You create a space to tap into the invisible world,
You tap into the universal intelligence,
You tap into your intuition.
And I certainly know myself when my vibration is high,
My intuition is strong,
When my vibration is low,
It's not.
So if you would coach with me,
You would find that on those rainy,
Dull days,
People would say,
I don't know if they do or not.
They say,
Oh,
Jeffrey doesn't seem to be as intuitive today.
And I've come to accept that.
So realizing,
You know,
The vibration is like the keys to the kingdom.
So you brought up a phenomenal topic today.
And obviously,
We didn't have enough time to do great depth in depth discussion or justice to it.
But if there's anything out of this conversation,
I would just ask the listeners,
Tap in to your vibration to your awareness of your vibration,
And realize that it is it offers you an opportunity to have a much better life by understanding the vibration that's going on around you,
And within you.
Right.
Yeah.
Any final words on that one,
Mark?
Just kind of building on what you just said,
The universe is trying to communicate to you in multiple ways.
And one of them is through your body and how you feel.
And paying more attention to how you feel really provides a lot of important insights,
I think,
Into how you can then react to your world,
To your life.
And it's all good stuff.
Oh,
100%.
Brilliant advice,
Brilliant advice.
So tap into your vibration,
Tap into your vibration in your body and your emotions in your mind.
And in everything that's going on around you,
Whether it's whether it's words you hear in a song,
Whether it's numerology,
The universe is communicating to us in vibration,
Tap into that vibration,
And life will be less stressful,
More fulfilling,
And more enjoyable.
Wonderful topic,
Mark.
Thank you so much for choosing it today.
Thanks,
Jeffrey.
I enjoyed the conversation.
Good.
Look forward to having our conversation and what your topic will be for next week.
Thanks.
Take care,
Mark.
You too.
Thanks,
Jeffrey.
Love and light to all of you.
Thank you.

This one was very insightful guys. It explains some of my energy drops lately. After learning what I have lately about the way our conciousness is connected to Gaia, I'm surprised I never connected those two dots. I just figured I wasn't getting enough sleep.
