Hello beautiful souls,
This is June Bee and welcome to an amazing night's sleep.
Thanks for being here for soothing rain for deep sleep.
Soothing means anything having a gentle and calming effect on you which could reduce pain,
Any discomfort or anxiety and set you up for an effortless night's sleep.
Join me as we go on this gentle and peaceful journey together.
So in preparation for your best night's sleep,
Let's get into your favourite sleeping position.
Making sure you are comfortable,
Close your eyes,
Relax your muscles and slowly imagine yourself melting into the bed.
Now let's go to your breathing,
Slowing down the heart rate and let's take some nourishing breaths together.
Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out… Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out… Last time breathe in… breathe out… Settle in now,
Relax and get comfortable.
Listen to the soothing sounds of tonight's track.
If your mind wanders it's okay,
Bring it back to the sound of the track.
Let go of everything that has happened today and let's go on our journey together.
Today I will be talking to you and sharing soothing rain sounds for a deep sleep.
As you listen to the sounds,
Allow your brain to shift gears,
Turn off the noise and chatter of the day and gently ease into sleep.
So,
What soothing rain sounds can I share?
Firstly,
Let's think about the day and how it is over.
Letting go of anything that has troubled you,
Safe in the knowledge that it has passed and tomorrow is a new day to do it all again.
All done better,
Easier and without stress or struggle.
Breathe in now and allow yourself to feel relaxed and calm.
Right now,
In the present moment.
Confident in the knowledge that you are exactly where you are supposed to be and that you're safe and cared for in this very moment.
That is my wish for you,
My dearest friend.
Thinking about rain sounds and how they affect the body.
Firstly,
The sounds of rain are classed as pink noise.
Pink noise can help you to stay asleep longer and sleeping to pink noise may also boost your memory after you wake up.
Pink noise is the best for people on high alert.
It supports the feeling of calm and can also aid in concentration if needed.
If you want a softer background noise or if you find high frequency sounds too sharp,
You might find pink noise better for relaxation and deep sleep.
Pink noise can sound like the hum inside of an aeroplane cabin,
The gentle rumbling hum of a fridge or steady rain on a tin roof.
This makes pink noise great for all sorts of uses,
Including a great night's sleep.
You can even call it nature's sleeping pill if you want.
There is a classic pop song from my youth called Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This and that melody and lyrics come to mind right now.
Here are some gentle words to describe that soothing and nourishing sleep in a nutshell.
Imagine yourself immersed in all of this now.
The gentle pitter patter of soft rain.
Drip drops hitting the floor.
Splattering of the water on the ground.
The gentle music of tiny raindrops.
Exploding of the water as it falls.
Soft tapping of the falling rain.
Consistent drizzle.
The spraying of water drops as they fall.
A never-ending shower of rain.
The hissing as the relentless rain smashes onto the ground.
The dull drumming of a heavy shower.
Thundering rainfall.
Gentle whispers of peaceful raindrops.
How soothing and gentle was that?
Are you ready to let go?
Or have you already drifted off into dreamland?
Wherever you are,
Let yourself surrender and have a beautiful night's sleep.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Good night,
Beautiful soul.
