Busy lives and competing demands can distract us from what matters most, causing imbalance and tension in the relationships we have with ourselves, family, friends, and the world. In this month-long series, Jay guides you towards creating and reintegrating harmony in your life.

Harmony in relationships.

If you sit quietly by the lake you will,

If you listen closely,

Begin to feel your heart beating.

You will become aware of your pulse.

Similarly,

If you sit with the intention to allow your mind to slow down its production of thoughts and perceptions.

If you let go of your intellectual evaluations for a few moments.

If you let things become very quiet within your consciousness,

Within yourself,

You will hear and feel another heart.

Your real heart.

You will hear and feel the pulse of love.

Not Hollywood love.

The pulse of love from your real heart.

From that pulse comes intention.

And the deepest intention for human beings is to make a connection,

Commune and harmonize with others.

Our connections and relationships can be seen along two axis.

The horizontal and vertical.

Our horizontal relations include the other people in our life,

All the animal kingdom and nature itself.

And our vertical relationships include our relationship with our self as we turn within and reconnect with our authentic self.

And then there is the highest relationship for some but not all,

Which is with the source,

With the one that some call God and various other names.

Because in this stillness we can feel the connection horizontally and vertically.

And that which tends to break our connection in all directions are the machines and noise.

So take time to reestablish these connections.

Thank you.
