So,

Welcome.

Feeling feet in contact with the ground and maybe tuning into how we're on the same planet.

We're alive at the same moment.

And each living in a little curly queue of matter that somehow shapes itself in ways that are unique and kin to each other.

And in that resting into the moment shared,

The life received,

Maybe letting the back and the middle of your back really open into springy support or inflow of life.

Letting life come in and letting you rest back into a wish for this lifetime or an appreciation of a privilege or gift or skill or community or some way that things have come about in your life that you can feel is a good way of living,

Bringing a good breathing,

A good settling,

A good opening to your dignity,

To the dignity of life,

Kinship of life.

Letting the eyes that we have that are trained on comparing and competition,

Letting those kind of flicker off,

Flicker into rest,

Settling into the uniqueness that we each have and therefore share strangely,

Paradoxically,

And also the so many similarities in enoughness,

In not needing to earn in any way,

This life that we already have and already have been receiving for years.

The strangeness of eyes and fingernails and even thought.

The weirdness of spines and emotions.

The marvel of colors and sounds.

And the spectacular awareness that in such fine detail is receiving,

Is meeting.

Being as if painted with these colors.

So either just enjoying that,

Some way of appreciation for this marvelous,

Crazy,

Is it a story or lifestream or moment,

Or within the mix of all of these perceptions and experiences,

Is there some subtle direction that takes your interest,

Allows your heart to lean into so subtly,

Not expecting anything.

But a why not,

Hmm,

Tiny,

Tiny little bit this way,

Maybe.

And is that steering about enoughness or love or just here-ness,

No expectation,

Clear-eyed seeing or loving warmth or what,

What could it be?

Letting it develop rather than trying to build something up.

As if we're very relaxed and beginning to hear a distant song that's pleasant to feel and hear.

But when we try to hear it,

That tension blocks the hearing.

So relaxing but exquisitely receiving a subtle song,

Letting it come.

What is this living for or what steers this living,

What gives some guidance?

What kind of quality is,

Is good guidance,

Good steering?

No expectation or peace,

Relaxation,

Filled with aliveness.

And then maybe just allowing awareness to be aware for a while.

If you caught your own flow in some way,

Please go with your own flow.

If you're kind of struggling to make sense of what could be my wish,

What could be my steering for this lifetime,

Then dropping it,

I would suggest.

If it's become mental,

Then just dropping it.

For now,

It's like kind of dropping it into the wishing well.

Letting some other faculty or intelligence have a chance to respond over the days to come.

And awareness keeps on being here,

Keeps on being here,

Keeps on being here.

Eyes at rest,

Spine light,

Unburdened,

Alive,

With space and density.

In its beautiful,

Strange design,

The spine rolling with the breath.

Feeling how maybe the eyes,

Shoulders,

And throat could rest.

Or maybe not,

Maybe there's not rest for the eyes,

Shoulders,

Or throat today.

But maybe just feeling a few layers back,

Feeling the back of your body,

Lower body.

Maybe as if the eyes were connected to the lower body.

Somehow.

And if there was a sense of connection,

Or a rush of goodness in feeling a wish for this lifetime,

And if it feels good to hang out with that,

Maybe in the lower belly,

Or along with feeling your back body or spine,

Rolling,

Undulating with breath.

Like soaking in a small pool of the lower belly or lower body.

And kind of accompanying ourselves with the subtle movements of the breath in the back.

Something that holds you up or holds you here.

Something you can float on.

And space along the vertebrae.

The space in the sense of the volume of each vertebra.

Almost as if there's something about the area of the spine and hips that drives or steers or touches the breath into action,

Into motion.

Or is involved in the hydraulics of the breath.

Allowing the energy of thinking,

Maybe the energy of the head,

To start to drain away,

Drain down.

Like a landscape washed after a rain.

Perhaps enjoying a sense of the skin and within the skin being part of a larger space and larger flows.

The skin as if opening to the space around you.

Being part of the space around you.

Or just being allowed to take up some space.

Anything no longer necessary,

No longer helpful for life,

That might be hanging around in the brain,

In the mind.

Allowed to drain down.

If it's helpful feeling the natural letting go of the out-breath.

The natural sense of gravity on the out-breath.

And the natural filling and brightening with the in-breath.

The natural receiving of what's needed.

The natural having room for what's needed.

How good receiving,

How good letting go.

Life taking care of itself.

Life being allowed to care for itself.

To interflow.

To give and receive.

Two kinds of good.

And if there's anything in the life of the heart that feels burdensome or heavy.

Or in need of letting go.

Leaving room for the possibility of that happening.

Like a dew drop rolling off a leaf.

Or a cloud untangling itself,

Changing shape.

Not forcing the heart to release,

To let go where it's in bondage.

But maybe as if reaching a hand into a stream,

Feeling a stone on the stream bed.

Feeling,

Here is some density.

That maybe in its own time,

Will drop with gravity.

Can drop in its own time.

Spacious awareness.

Spacious awareness allowing all the perceptions and happenings,

Experiences.

Like the ripples on a stream,

And the stream itself.

Thank you. That was helpful. The pace and the spaces moved me to let go and accept. …Pure Presence. 🙏🏻
