Hello,
My name is Jason Stevenson and welcome to this guided meditation that will help you to heal on both an emotional and physical level before you sink into a deep sleep.
Know that there are no special tools or insights you need to already hold in order for the process of healing to occur.
However,
Simply relax your mind and open your heart to the possibility of deep healing.
To begin this meditation,
Take a moment to ensure that all end of day activities are taken care of.
And once you are ready to gently release the day that is now behind you,
I invite you to close your eyes,
Tune into your body and allow yourself to arrive in this present moment.
Though your body is already here,
Your mind might need a moment to catch up,
So see if you might invite it to land in this space by noting what it feels like to be held by the surface below you.
Note each square inch of your body that is in contact with the bed or other surface beneath you.
And see if you might invite your body to melt a little bit further into this space.
Ensure your spine is straight though comfortable and that your neck is aligned with the spine.
And draw your attention to your breath to further ground yourself into this practice.
Soften your chest and your belly as you breathe,
Gently welcoming the breath to move a little bit deeper now.
Relax your jaw,
The muscles around your eyes,
And any other areas where you may be tense Just let go,
And sink further into the simplicity of your breath.
Now that the physical body is relaxing,
Take a moment to soften the mind space,
To gently free yourself of any stories within you that hold you back from healing.
Limiting stories in this regard might be thoughts that say,
This challenge will never end,
Or healing this will be too difficult.
If any stories like this are present in your inner world,
Breathe them out now,
Envision them leaving your body with each breath out.
In this space created within you,
I invite you now to focus your attention in the heart space,
And as you breathe into the centre of your chest,
Imagine that the energies of love,
Self-care and self-healing are beginning to flourish.
If wandering thoughts or stories arise in the mind at any point,
Simply guide your awareness back to your heart space,
Let your attention rest there,
As you continue to see yourself being filled with loving,
Healing energy.
And as you breathe,
You might take a moment to further set the stage for deep transformation by silently repeating,
Healing is possible as you inhale,
And healing is happening as you exhale,
Healing is possible,
Healing is happening.
Finish one more full breath cycle whispering these words to yourself,
Before releasing them and coming back to inner silence.
Since everything is made up of energy,
The physical and emotional bodies are intimately intertwined.
Often physical challenges have a connection to our emotions,
And vice versa.
By drawing our attention and bringing healing energy to each part of the physical body,
And to the challenges we might have stored there,
We enable healing to take place throughout both these levels.
And so with this knowing in mind,
We will deepen our journey tonight by taking a trip through the body,
Using our inner capacity for self-healing to promote balance throughout both the physical and emotional aspects of our being,
Ensuring that as you move through this process,
You remain connected to your loving,
Compassionate and patient self.
Though this is a healing body scan,
It can bring to light certain aspects of ourselves that might be uncomfortable to witness at first.
If anything unsettling arises,
Note that you can always tune out the words spoken and ground yourself in your breath.
Just do whatever feels right for you in any moment,
Ensuring that self-love and care are always at the forefront.
So,
To begin now,
Take a moment to come back into your body,
Making any adjustments you require before settling back into stillness.
Know that as we move through this process,
You are welcome to make any soft and gentle movements that are needed to better support yourself.
For instance,
When we arrive in the heart space,
You might like to place a hand upon the heart to further nourish this part of yourself if you feel called to.
The choice is always up to you.
Soften your belly now,
Letting the breath flow as deep as is comfortable for you.
And then draw your attention to your feet to begin with,
Holding your awareness here for a short while.
Your feet represent your connection to the earth,
Helping you to feel stable and grounded and supported.
And so as you hold your awareness on these parts of you,
Imagine that they are being penetrated from above by a beam of healing white light.
And as this light fills your feet,
Imagine that they are coming into greater balance,
Both emotionally and physically.
As they do,
You might witness you feeling more supported and secure in this space and the practice.
And now the light from above you begins to shift,
Moving slowly upwards through your ankles and lower legs,
Bringing the same gift of healing to these parts as you did your feet.
Take your time now to envision this healing light slowly reaching your thighs,
Knowing that though it comes from above you,
It is guided by the healing potential of your empowered mind.
Soon,
The entirety of your legs have been touched by this radiant,
Nourishing light.
Any imbalanced emotional aspects of yourself connected to stability,
Security and grounding have moved into greater harmony.
Now,
Using your inspired mind,
Allow this healing white glow from above to move into your hips,
Filling the entire pelvic space between them.
As this white light brings balance to your entire energy system here,
You come into greater alignment both physically and emotionally.
Our pelvis and hips store many of our unprocessed emotions and so as you breathe through this space,
Ensure you are practicing compassion and patience.
If you encounter any areas within the body where there is great tension or discomfort,
Either physically or emotionally,
I invite you to silently repeat a few words to that part of you.
Simple words such as I see you,
I love you or I am supporting you.
So take just a couple more breaths with the white light as it penetrates the space between your hips.
And after your next exhalation,
Allow the white light from above to move into your lower abdomen,
Filling your belly and your lower back.
Continue to breathe deeply and as the healing beam of light fills this part of you,
Imagine any physical or emotional imbalances here coming into greater alignment.
Imagine that each cell within your core is being blessed by the power of energetic transformation.
Now let your attention shift upwards as your chest space and upper back fill this with healing white glow.
Let each breath in create an expansion within your heart and each breath out a softening.
And as you breathe mindfully through this cavity,
Envision the light that fills you bringing balance and vitality to each and every cell of this space.
And then tune in more attentively to the energetic center of your heart.
Without searching for anything in particular,
Let the white light cleanse any emotions or stuck energy that is held there,
Allowing the heart to find greater peace and ease.
Remember the simple affirmations you can use as needed,
I see you,
I love you,
I am supporting you.
And now,
Gently watch as the beam of light moves further up your body towards your shoulders and then seeps downwards to fill your arms all the way to your fingertips.
As the full length of your arms and your hands fill up with this nourishing light,
Each cell is cleansed to its core.
Any emotions or stress that might be knotted in your shoulders,
Your wrists or any other part of your arms,
Feel them begin to soften,
To let go.
The white light rises back up now,
Filling your entire neck,
Both front and back.
The light is soft,
Gentle and soothing,
Gently nourishing any energetic tension that might be held here.
Remember to breathe through any discomfort you may encounter along the way,
Repeating words of self-love and self-care to yourself as needed,
It's your self-directed loving energy that will heal you.
And gently,
The beam of light rises even higher now,
Filling your jaw and your mouth,
Your cheeks,
Your ears and your nose,
Your forehead,
The crown of your head and the back of your head.
Your entire headspace bathes in this white light of healing.
All physical tension here softens,
And any emotions tied up here are eased as well.
And all self-limiting fearful stories dissipate as you sink into the vast abyss of universal love,
Light and healing.
Witness your entire body held beneath the white light of love that rises from within just as much as it surrounds you.
And as you hold your entire being in your awareness,
Envision your breath reaching out to each and every corner of your being.
Each loving breath inwards nourishes you,
And each loving breath out frees you.
And take three more full long breaths this way,
Imagining as if your entire body is breathing as it bathes beneath the white light just for a few final moments.
After your next exhalation,
Gently allow the breath to come back to its natural rhythm,
And the white light of healing to softly fade.
I invite you to inquire with your physical and emotional bodies to see if there are any other areas that yearn for extra support,
Care and nourishment.
If something arises for you,
Let your awareness focus in on that space.
If it is an emotional aspect of yourself that longs for a bit more tenderness,
Then inquire as to where this emotion may be located within the body,
Bring your attention there.
If no particular area stands out to you,
Just allow your awareness to remain soft and open.
Now,
Whether your awareness is focused on one particular part of your being,
Or is held open,
I invite you to silently repeat the following words.
I see you.
I love you.
I support you.
I free you.
I see you.
I love you.
I support you.
I free you.
And in the silence that remains,
Offer any final words of healing to yourself that your intuition guides you to speak.
There is nothing else you need to do,
Nothing you need to envision,
Discover,
Or tend to.
The process of healing is already very much underway.
And as you sink into a restful night's slumber,
Allow the following positive affirmations to fill your subconscious mind.
As you sink into sleep,
These words will continue to influence your energetic body,
Promoting continued healing balance and nourishment throughout both the physical and emotional levels of your being.
Allow the day to sink away now,
Along with any lingering stories that might crop up from time to time.
Now is your time to rest and restore,
As these empowered words continue to work on their own.
I heal with grace and ease.
I am whole,
Balanced,
And centered.
I am full to the brim with vitality.
I let go of stories that no longer serve me.
I believe in my capacity to self-heal.
I am patient and compassionate towards myself.
I embrace the lessons that are provided to me.
I trust the flow of life.
I find my inner peace.
I am capable of overcoming all obstacles.
I speak lovingly to myself.
I am courageous and resilient.
I inhale love and exhale fear.
I love my life.
I love myself through all obstacles.
My life is full of infinite blessings.
I radiate love and light.
I believe in the power of inner transformation.
I am a co-creator of my reality.
I release stories of the past and fears of the future.
