This,

Oh Come All Ye F-ing Crowds meditation is a great one for you to take five minutes inside your parked car in front of the mall or on the subway with some headphones.

Don't be that guy.

Before you go out and face those crowds.

So go ahead and take a deep breath in.

Hold it and exhale,

Letting go of any of the anxieties that you face with crowds.

Inhale again and hold it at the top and on the exhale,

Let go of any of the extreme self-importance with what your task is.

Breathing again,

Holding it and on the exhale,

Let go of any bitchy attitude you're about to walk into that store with.

Let's take another inhale and send the breath through all the parts of your body,

Starting with your head and on the exhale,

Let go of your thoughts about what you need to do right now.

Do that a couple more times.

Send the breath now to just behind your eyes and on the exhale,

Let go of anything you think you are going to see.

Do that again and on the exhale,

Let go of the way that you see things as being right.

Next inhale,

Send that breath over to your throat and your mouth and your jawline.

Move those around and on the exhale,

Let go of anything that you think you need to say to people.

On the next inhale,

Send the breath down to your chest,

Your shoulders and on the exhale,

Let those shoulders drop.

Try that one more time through the shoulders and let them drop on the exhale.

Send the breath down through the tops of your arms,

Through your fingers and on the exhale,

Release any tension,

Anxiety or needs you may have.

Send the breath now through your chest where your heart lives and on the exhale,

Let go of any area that lacks courage.

On the next breath,

Send the air down to your stomach,

Fill up your stomach,

Then your chest and on the exhale,

Let go of any shame you might be holding that makes you think you need to buy something to define you.

Do that again and then on the exhale,

Let go of any less than attitude you may carry into the stores or the crowds.

And send the breath down to your seat.

On the exhale,

Just unclench and down to your legs and your feet and on the exhale,

Let go of the need to rush,

To run,

To push.

Keep breathing for just a moment.

You can send your breath to any area of your body,

May have tension or anxiety,

Allow the exhale to just release that.

By doing this meditation,

You carry with you light,

You can walk peacefully,

Calmly,

Smile,

Accessing that light within,

Bringing a little bit of calmness to the people around you even if they don't have it,

Appreciating the work of others,

The needs of others and the struggles of others.

And now you're ready to go face all of those effing crowds.

So let's take a deep inhale,

Hold it at the top and exhale real loudly,

Move your body around,

Inhaling,

Holding and exhaling,

Letting go of anything else that's still in there that isn't bright,

Light,

It isn't your you,

Your best you.

Contract,

Expand your muscles,

Move side to side,

Roll your head side to side,

Open your eyes with patience knowing that everything is going to work out exactly as it's supposed to and that you get to be the light this season instead of starting a fight this season.

Happy holidays.
