In today's meditation we will be deepening our connection with our inner knowing.
Let us begin by finding a comfortable seated position.
Make sure your spine is nice and tall and your hands are resting on your knees.
Gently close your eyes.
I invite you to take a deep breath in through your nose and a soft sigh out through the mouth.
Two more times in through the nose and a soft sigh out through the mouth.
Beautiful.
I want you to deepen your breath with each inhale and soften it with each exhale.
Deep breath in and a soft breath out.
Notice how your body begins to soften with each breath you take.
Begin to relax your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw,
Your neck,
Relaxing your shoulders all the way down to your hands,
Your fingers,
Your back,
Hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
And all the way down to your ankles,
Your feet.
Your whole body is relaxed.
As you begin to rest here in the stillness,
You quiet your mind and open your heart.
Can you listen to that voice,
That silent soul whisper,
Or are you ignoring it because you are too busy with all the external distractions around you?
Life can be scary and overwhelming sometimes,
But there is one thing you need to know.
There is a part of you that already knows,
A part of you that holds the wisdom and guidance for your life.
Sometimes it guides you like a whisper,
An inner knowing,
A feeling in your body,
In your heart,
In your soul,
A sudden understanding.
It tells you when something is right or wrong.
It tells you when to leave and where to go.
It tells you when to say yes and when to say no.
I want you to listen to it,
Feel it,
Make space for it.
Now repeat this after me.
I know my voice.
I trust my intuition.
My inner self always has the answer.
Take one last deep breath before we finish this meditation.
Gently start to wake up your body,
Moving your fingers,
Your toes,
Coming back into the space.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Your practice is now complete.
Namaste.
